Agreed with everyone else – if you need to vent, vent!

It’s good to hear from you too!

Thank you. I appreciate your support. I know I’m not the first person to ever experience a death, in fact I know several of you who have dealt with one recently, but this is the first person in my life to pass away, so thanks for putting up with me in my state of shock/mourning.

It’s never easy. My great grandfather and grandmother were together as long as your grandparents. It was hard on my great grandpa when great grandma died. I understand your concern for your grandma. She will need your support and love more than ever. It’s not a bad thing to have a cry together, either.

Agreed. My pawpaw died almost 20 years ago and pictures of him still make my granny very sad. And when my grandmother passed, my grandfather was very lonely, so I spent a lot of time visiting with him while I went to school in the town where he lived. He passed only a couple short years after her.

Lots of hugs for you and your family.

New collar design! I sewed it together today and had intended to take glamor shots to list it on Etsy, but I had to glue a piece in and I’m waiting for that to cure before I take better photos.

Need to alter the stitches for this one so I can put it on smaller nylon widths for sure. I did this on in memory of my GSD I lost two years ago and in the hope of being able to get another before too long.

              Is my favorite so far!

Oh, well this is nice, she’s been made our supervisor officially now.

I did confront her about her comment yesterday and when she gave her reasoning defending it I told her to try not to say things like that because first of all it isn’t true and second of all it’s incredibly frustrating to hear.

I’m not sure if she’s ever been in a supervisory position, and I don’t know about anybody else, but hearing that kind of bullhockey from my supervisor doesn’t produce the kind of mad that makes me work harder. It produces the kind of mad that makes me want to drop all my work on her desk and walk out the door.

Oh, I’ve already done it once, to her and the sales assistant. She kept ending up with the ads I’d been working on for the assistant without anybody saying anything to me about wanting a second set of eyes on it (which is fine). Turn around and she’s got it. So I finally told them both that I would like to know if something I’ve been working on is being handed to someone else.

So far so good, they’re telling me when and why things I’ve started end up with her. I may draw the line with the insults shortly too. Even if they’re not spoken directly to me.

I don’t really want to give her a piece of my mind (a piece of my mind is worth too much to waste on her), but I would like to hear her defense, if she’s even got one. To add to the irritation, she’s one of those people who will smile and laugh to your face and be all sunshine and happy until you turn your back.

So I would expect some attempt to brush it off like she didn’t ‘mean it like that’ and she just meant this or this.

I like long, sinewy dragons, or at least, that’s how I like to draw them. Possibilities, I guess? Anyway, I have some white to block back in on the tetra dragon and I can post another progress pic. I may have forgotten to draw in the stuff behind the glass…

                        :8)

(Also, dragonmedley, I have work to share, I should send that before I go to sleep…)

Dunno if you could really call him a rescue, because he just kind of showed up on the back patio with our older outdoor only cat, 13 (who also just kind of showed up – I had him neutered and got him a first set of vax anyway), but our most recent visitor to the food bowl is a little black kitten with stripes on his sides and legs and a big white patch on his belly.

He’s hung around for the past three weeks or so (pulled a wolf worm out of his nose today because I thought it was just a snot crusty, ARGH!) and if he’s around longer, I’ll do the same for him as we did for 13. Snip snip and some vax. Anybody want a kitten?

                                  I love these little sculpts!

I got what looks like a reddish wolf

Have a bad phone picture for now.

The tips of his ears are dark and he’s got a dark streak running down his tail.

I would trade him for the ones circled, though I’d need better pictures of the bicolor to make sure he is what I think he is.
