I got a house for Christmas..or rather approved, papers signed and everything for said house lol. Including shelves for my windstones who have been in boxes for a few years due to lack of space so I’m pretty excited!
We have had envelopes show up opened, packages ripped open, stuff just missing, it’s been a horrible mail season for my city. I’m also waging on three amazon orders that haven’t updated since 23/24 🙁
Living in a place that most people have “heard” all about before ever stepping foot here, and everything one hears is never good I totally believe that happiness is a choice, at least to some extent. If you decide before a situation that you are going to hate it, you will likely hate it and not even try to give it a chance to make you happy.
Mines here, and finally unwrapped, I’m so sorry just life! My sewer froze so I had to stay home from work for two days , of course he wasn’t delivered during those days. Had to be the day I went back, then I had to work the weekend to catch up, blah it’s been a long couple weeks!

Just for clarification it refered to Dapple in dachshunds, but it is the same gene I believe. Merle is not an accepted Great Dane colour and I would recommend staying far away from any breeder purposely breeding them. The reason many breeds do not allow red or blue Merle is because the gene can cause a great deal of issues if done incorrectly, which it often is because it’s pretty. Breeding Merle to Merle (or dapple to dapple in dachshunds) can and will cause blindness and deafness, pups are often born both deaf and blind, and even with out eyes. If they have blue eyes and white ears they are probably deaf. It is commonly bred for in collies and shelies to get a colour headed white dog.
I wonder if the one I got is the Merle because that’s what I thought when I opened the box lol, that and he needs blue eyes lol.
