Don’t quote me on this, but I think I recall it being said that the reason they don’t make many Sparkle Paint sculpts is due to the small supply of the paint?
However, I will also voice my interest here, he’s lovely and I think he’d be even more striking with silver eyes to match that horn!
I’m even more excited to get mine after those photos…! They look stunning.
Ahhh, thanks so much for your photos all! They are too pretty!
We never made the Oriental Sun Dragon and the Oriental Moon Dragon in Amethyst – we may possibly make more of those – Melody is considering it. I’m not calling the Oriental and the Young Oriental in amethyst “retired” yet – we’ll wait and see what Melody decides.
It’d be a shame if they were retired, I’ve been waiting for over a year now for the chance of a restock as they are still listed! It’d be really lovely to see Moon and Suns eventually as well, just to have the whole family… I’m sure you guys have a lot going on, though.
Ooh, congrats! He’s got some really neat colours.
Thanks for your input everyone! Angel, the male is gorgeous, thank you!
Bullsquid – I’d love to see your Lap!
I would love to see natural safari cougars (followed closely by fantasy tanukis). 😉
I’d like to chime in, I also agree with this idea! There are some really pretty colour schemes, even if there are a probably finite number of different ones… But I’m sure no one would mind if it was a “semi-grab bag” 🙂
Your dog is gorgeous! Cute too, the last photo made me melt 🙂
I don’t really have any favourite wolves yet, I think I’ll have to wait til mine gets here and photos of others’ wolves start showing up to see!
Blue Morpho Poads!
Sounds a little strange at first, but I think seeing the blue shades on such a round/flat sculpt would be lovely!
Silver beak/claws… Maybe some black stripes, I’ve seen any number of GB or Test Paint stripe types that could work. Unsure about the spots though.
My first adult dragon just arrived – The Plum Male Test Paint. What a gorgeous sculpt! It’s so detailed in person! I adore him!
I’m a bit late on this, but I’m so glad he arrived safely and that you like him so much! I also loved him to death – he was also my first male dragon sculpt! Wish I hadn’t had to sell him, but it turns out houses are expensive :p And I’m glad he went to a good home! He really is a beaut.
The Lap is on my “maybe” list!
I am sooo stuck on the Emp though. He looks surprisingly regal still in pink, but if I don’t like it in person I’ll be hard pressed to resell, due to International shipping costs. I keep teetering between him and the Amethyst Emp but I can’t seem to find non-stock photos of either.
(Also I’m still ~kinda~ waiting for more white Orientals but I believe I read there were some casting issues, so I’m not sure if that’s still happening.)
I am just wondering if there will be more merles too? I was hoping for a merle snd brindle batch since a lot of us wanted the merles before. I am not as much into the brindles but they look nice in the picture. Also are there still more to be worked on or are they close to done?
I have finished the brindles. I only have about 24 unpainted wolf castings left.
How many of you guys are want merles? Maybe I should wait until we have more castings so I can do a bigger batch. If the brindles and merles are seperate batches, I’d suggest a staggered release like with the koi and fantasy ki-rin GBs. Then you get a gap in between to finish a few more merles. I’m quite sure they’d sell!
We just did them in shell pink!
Colors that don’t have “edges” are a lot easier to do on this dinky dragon.I saw that! That and the violet flames were what made me wonder if more production colours might come out eventually 🙂 I think they look nice in any colour, but one has to pick and choose for budget purposes, hehe.
To chime in, since I forgot about this thread – It does sound like “Limited Production” regular colour runs could be a solution? 🙂
