I was afraid to bet on the hoppies since there were too many solid backed ones and I don’t care for those. So my mom bought me one for Christmas and she arrived today. Needless to say she will be up for trade for a diff hoppy or a simple or fancy safari.
When I saw my tracking showed my package was delived at 6:54 this morning I figured there had been a mis-scan somewhere, but when I got home awhile ago there was a box by my door…and these lovely ladies were inside it! I totally can’t believe I got my #1 safari pick and a gorgeous ginger kitty, too! I actually squealed and even teared up when I unwrapped the zebraffe! :love:
Got my lovelies today. I’m really digging my GB fox, but was hoping for an AWD with more body white so he May be up for trade. I took pics in sun and shade.
What got me when I first saw this auction was that the seller says they are all in good condition but just look at that poor mother Pegasus in the close up pic. She’s covered with black marks! I don’t understand why the bid would ever even get that high. None of the pieces are rare, are they?
I recently found these same tiny black beetles in a few boxes I had sitting on my dresser. Tan powder at the corners of the box are what prompted me to investigate and I nearly dropped the box when I opened it and saw all the bugs! Both boxes stacked on top of it were infested as well, but the majority were in a box I had received from a forum member several months ago so I suspect that is how I got them. I haven’t dug into my closet to check my other stored foo foos since the infested boxes weren’t near there, but now I think maybe I need to have a closet rearranging day and drag EVERYTHING out just to be sure!
I think I saw those candy bars in a vintage and obscure candy shop in Austin, Texas a couple weeks ago. If I’d known you wanted them I could have grabbed a few! 🙁
Took some outdoor pics of my King Leopard and wanted to share them. The more I look at him the more I think he’s found his furever home! 🙂
I already won a raffle but I also like the idea of a cougar since so many people weren’t able to afford a grab bag one. These guys are just amazing! 😀
I got the one Melody said is a King Leopard. He is really gorgeous and I’m very happy with him, but if he is someone’s top fave I MIGHT consider trading. The pic where I am holding him shows the richness of his coloring better.
Loving the zebras! Also the rainbow wolf and the ocean pieces. Will you be selling them or prints of them?
Pictures, as promised! He’s so much prettier in person! His body is a mixture of copper and red with magenta running down his spine and blending into purple on his tail. :love:
Oh my gosh! I was just about to go to bed, having totally forgotten about the raffle, when I get an email on my phone titled “You Won!”. Of course my first thought was a spam email must have gotten through, but then I saw who it was from and almost dropped my phone! I am super excited to get this guy and will definitely post “real life” pictures upon his arrival! :bigsmile:
