Adding my squeak for ANY production of Ki-rins, existing colors or not.

I’ll echo the note regarding auction bids consistently being far outside the typical budget of production pieces. It’s been disheartening knowing that’s not an avenue for me. More power to the people who can, though! Would that I could!

I would swoon to see any ki-rins in the shop for finished pieces. ;.;

I would also love to see an ivory sitting Qi-lin* to go with the laying one recently released. ^^ I’m not sure if there ever was one, but I love how the neutral tones look on display with my ki-rin family. 😁

WowWow! Good info, and a beautiful collection! I love the piebald look to your PYO Kirin! The colors definitely read the same as your production pieces and I love how unified the family looks all together. 🙂

Funny enough, I think I may have examples of both paint types. I could be wrong though, and one may be more aged than the other. Both need a lil TLC.

I think the one with the leg damage is a bit darker than my first father ki-rin purchase. Depending on how the touch-up goes with the one with just scuffs, I may either restore or repaint the one I’ll probably have to break again to fix. :’)

Oh- I’ve definitely seen the disclaimer on the auctions. Just curious if there’s any certainty that any of the given test paints will go into production. Seems that’s not currently in the cards to do so, and that’s ok.
I would as happily buy existing production colors, when the ones that call to me appear within reach. ^^

WowWow- Those tiger berry test paints are beautiful. Such a pretty color scheme. Can anyone explain how these color family test paints work? Are there only 1 of each figure made, ever? My heart longs for a Gothic Unicorn, and I love the nostalgic & summery vibes this color is giving me.

I’m very excited to see the sitting Qi-lin addition to the Windstone lineup, too! The eastern style unicorns and dragons are some of my favorites- stuffing away monies for the right opportunity to bring them into my small windstone family!

*For what it’s worth, I love the idea of being able to make producing new figures less stressful on the Windstone production team. I would gladly participate in ‘wait list’ style polling for various color/pattern themes in future grab bags. :>
