I must admit I also very much like to see the group shot before they go in the store. Then I can decide if there are enough I like or not. If most of a batch consisted of appaloosas I would definately not try to get one. With the international shipping and extra customs this just gets too expensive…
Melody, have you ever thought about giving the baby Unis different patterns on their back? Like maybe a tribal or paisley or something like that. A bit like the patterns you put on the poads 🙂
This is probably a lot more difficult to paint than the babies you do for the grab bag. But I would love to see something like that, maybe as ebay or LP pieces?Must have Falcor dragons!
No way, they really called him Falkor in the english version? I did not know that.
His real name is Fuchur.
But maybe they changed that because the german “ch” is a little difficult to pronounce since it does not exist in english languages. It´s like a normal “h” but you make the sound in the back of your throat. A bit like the “J” in jalapeño. 😉The one I want MOST is this little grey striped one.

But it´s really funny that this dragon appears now, because I have been working on a volcano PYO Dragon for some weeks now and am somehow stuck. He just doesn´t look like I want him to look no matter what I do. This dragon now gave me some nice ideas to try on the PYO 🙂 I hope they work.

Everthing is fine, my husband ordered them for me because of course they appeard in store when I was on my way home 😉
But since there are still some left I shouldn´t have worried.I’ll be happy with whatever I get, but I think I’d like an appaloosa, a pinto, or a palomino (depends on the palomino).
There are a lot that I would be very happy with, the only ones I don´t need so much are the appaloosas, but there are enough people here who like them.
The calico (3rd one in on the top row) looks interesting as well.
That Calico in the first row is really sweet, he is a close number 2 after that stripey one 🙂
The traffic has been horrible in some spots because of all the road and bridge closures, due to the huge amounts of flooding from Irene!
It must be really tough to live with something dangerous like earthquakes, hurricanes or tornados on a regular basis. It always reminds me how extremely thankful I can be to live a relatively safe life over here.

Once a year or so, my hubby and I go on a shopping spree around Pittsburgh, sometime during the shopping trip I’ll get a phone call from the CC company making sure that it’s me that is using the card every five minutes for unusual purchases, LOL. :bigsmile:

In my case it seems that the low amounts are the main problem, because most sites that misuse a card try to withdraw a small amount to see if the card is valid. If this goes through they grab as much as they can until the CC Company blocks the card. Since I mostly have small amounts, they get block on principle regardless if I shopped at the same store for years now with nearly the same amounts every time… What a stupid system.
Tomorrow I will call them again and see if I get any better information. They even have inconveniant service hours. Between 9am and 4pm… 🙁
