HAHAHAHA! I love your demonstration pics! Intersting Idea! Sand wouldn’t work because the airbrush would blow it everywhere, but larger m & m sized things might work as a cradle …
I haven’t really tried using the method we’ve worked out, but I think our suction-cup holder will work,…it Still leaves a mark on the bottom though.
I’ve re-sculpted the Fennec to have a flatter bottom. If we can put pads on them, the marks on the bottom won’t be an issue. Problem solved.However, we still have a bunch of fennec castings with the round bottoms that I need to finish somehow.
These will probably be a “no-nitpicking” edition. Similar to a goof-up edition.A no-nitpicking batch of fennec please please pleases??? I would love to have one!!!! In blue! Or pink! Or polkadotted!!!
Such beautiful dragons! Mine is sitting in an unopened box next to me – I’m so excited! But I couldn’t open it before the geologist in me gets the itch scratched to help people ID their dragon’s stone globes.
Anichol, I’ll second Etruscan by saying that one looks like rhodochrosite.
Mashubert, yours has a manmade opalescent glass called ‘opalite’.
Drag0nfeathers, yours is a jasper of some sort. The black feathery lines are dendritic mineral growths.
Copper83 yours looks like a jasper too. If the gray stripes appear metallic, it could be tiger iron or a banded ironstone.
Stephanie I’m not sure about yours – my bet’s on chalcedony/agate, or it could be a cloudy fluorite or amethyst.
Lysithan yours has a jasper known as dalmatian jasper.Whee, the nerd in me is now sated 😉 Thanks Etruscan for starting the thread, and everyone for posting pictures!

Better pix to come when I make his ad. I love the stone! I love the blue eyes!! But there were others I loved more. But . . . If I can’t find one that sings louder to me, I wont mind. This one looks awesome in my hutch!

Did you mention that you had a cat? That or any other furry house critter might be causing the difficulty of breathing maybe? Just a thought as it happened to me early on in my allergies. I knew I was very allergic to cats so couldn’t have a house one, but had a house guinea piggie and I couldn’t walk across the room without having to sit down, out of breath, didn’t act like asthma either, just was out of breath and so tired, so I had no clue what it was, then found out it was Beethoven. Same thing happened when I had a pet rat in the house years later. Just a thought?
