I bought a new phone last week just so I could play this game. I loved the original Pokemon Red and Blue on gameboy so Go brings back a ton of memories. Level 21 and team Valor!

    2 adopted, three to go!

Rock-reader, call someone and explain the situation. Unless you are in the sticks, you have a county shelter, a SPCA, and possibly multiple rescues and feral cat groups. Try crying on the phone, it works way more than it should. Make the appointment for the spay over the phone and beg a neighbor or friend to transport the cat. It’s literally a small portion of your day for drop off and pick up and some after care. If you live anywhere near me in California, I will come steal your cat for you right now and have her spayed next Saturday at clinic.

Hugs Aggie. All pets are special, but shibas are the cream of the crop. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

I make playlists for different projects and/or novels. My NaNoWriMo last year was full of silly and trashy love songs. My longer novels use playlists with epic video game soundtracks (I’ll never stop listening to Skyrim!), classical, anime and video game soundtracks, folk, and some rock. Oh god, and Tori Amos, she gets into everything. I used to not be able to listen to anything with English lyrics as it was distracting when I was trying to write, but I’ve gotten over that.

Example of first ten songs from in Yon Green Hill playlist:
    Forest of Glass, Tori Amos
    Da Pacem (chanting monks)
    Firstborn, Celldweller
    A Winter’s Tale, Skyrim soundtrack
    the Black Rider LOTR soundtrack
    Master of Tides, Lindsey Stirling
    Kindertotenlieder, Mahler
    Numquam Vicar, Madoka soundtrack
    Metro, System of a Down
Do Not stand on my grave, Libera

That is a pretty rainbow one! Where are all the collectors that like the natural and safari styles? It seems everyone wants the fantasy ones and those of us that got the natural/safari ones can’t find any trades.

Yup. Total pain when you hate a type and the batches are mixed. I vote for segregating the safaris in their own batches. That went down with the safari GBB before. A fantasy that’s not my style can grow on me, a safari though, blargh. And for this batch, everyone seems to be in agreement with “blaarrrgghh!” and tough luck to the 20+ natural/safari types in the herd.

Tigrett has already been ostracized by the cute unicorns…

Awww! I hope you get something more up your alley in a trade. 😀 So nice to see Qucumatz and Aquarius still together.

They love each other. Next, they want to adopt a scaled green and black uni baby and have a family. I told them I’d see what I could do next time the GBBs hit the store!

Oh, and here is a pic of my pretty boy Voltaire in the sunlight,…. amazing the difference it makes.

    /drool
His patterns look like fire and unrolled scrolls; Voltaire’s work certainly could be considered inflammatory. You have an enlightened, literary unicorn!

Great name, and probably one of my favorites, nice grab!
Still waiting for mine…apparently he wanted to prolong his Hawaiian vacation!

I’m going to laugh when you get one named Puka or something with the flowers in a lei pattern!

Man, if only! I would have loved a bright, tropical unicorn! I got burned by stripes…
Tigrett is a tiger/dove/unicorn. Citrine gems and medium brown eyes. The cutest thing about him is his mane is also striped. But this is just not the unicorn for me.

Finally got to open mine – meet Voltaire. Since Balder hoofed it to Rusti, my next hope was one of the coppery/bronze ones, and I got lucky. He is a beauty and the pictures simply do not do him justice. I’ll try taking some outside tomorrow to see if they are more flattering to this pretty boy.

Amazing! I can’t wait for mine, at least my last update shows he left Honolulu!

in reply to: Young Unicorn Show Off Thread May 2016 #945245

UGH my tracking shows my unicorn is in Honolulu??? Bad unicorn, no joy riding! So I probably won’t have mine today. I’m in northern CA, so 2 days transit time is my norm, and I’ve never had a package sent about the country before coming home… but apparently the time for that to happen is with highly anticipated grab bags!!!

Ye gods, they’re all so pretty! Mine will be here tomorrow!
