Very nice. I like the latest pics you posted, you cleaned him up well. I’m sorry about the horn….that bites.
Thanks! The horn is nothin a little glue cant fix, though I guess that means he is another one for my personal collection 😕
He is very nice and original, so if the horn can be fixed you might still get nice sum for him on ebay. You just tell it like it is and see what he brings…
I sometimes think that you should have to pass a test or take a course or something to be allowed to own a pet. So many people look at animals like they are disposable toys. It they get to be too much trouble they just get rid of it. People really need to realise that when they adopt a dog or a cat they are entering into a 15-20 sometimes 25 year contract! And some birds and reptiles can equal a human lifespan!

The Autumn Leaf OW was actually a OOAK Special Edition, as opposed to the limited editions like the gold lap or fledgling and those new browns that are sold direct.
But does that mean it can never be done on the regular non-prototype OWs?? I know it was OOAK, but it WAS a prototype OW, right? So it still wouldn’t be the same if she painted the regular OW in autumn leaf…I mean, that’s the logic behind the limited editions still having a chance to be limited production…right?
What SPark said 😆 Too lazy to write it again!
I got my then-boyfriend a white pegasus as a Christmas gift about 10 years ago. We ended up breaking up the next summer. When I saw earlier this year that they were retired and the prices they fetched on ebay I was sorry I didn’t take it with me when I left! I even thought of getting in touch with him to find out if he still had it. But I decided it wasn’t worth the agravation! As you can probably tell, it wasn’t a friendly break-up 😆

How many of you like books on tape? I personally just cannot get into the story with a book on tape. First time I tried it I was really surprised to find out that the whole thing is read by a single person! I remember it was a detective story, and to have an older woman with a distinguished voice do a street punk’s lines, or even just regular male characters’ lines was just too weird for me. Completely ruined the fantasy.
I didn’t mention most of those because, although they are not available as regular production, they are still available as limited production, direct sale from Windstone. So they haven’t really disapeared yet.
But, you’re right, I didn’t think of both coiled dragons and I guess we can add the oriental dragon to that list. I admit I haven’t really looked at any of the other creatures because I only collect western dragons.
Well, you certainly didn’t offend me! 😀 I’m all for a lively discussion and I absolutely don’t need everyone to agree with me! In fact, it’s an even better discussion when 2 people can coherently argue 2 completely different opinions! 😉
😆 Can you say ARGUMENTATIVE 😆
Anyway, have you read any of the Sword and Sorceress books edited by Marion Zimmer Bradley? She always has a little bio of the author before each short story and she has published A LOT OF very young authors!

It’s a liquid that you put in their waterbowls. Do you have a pet food store around you that specializes in Natural food? If you do than more than likely they will have something for calming. Anyways my cats were cured of thunder phobia within a week. (Lots of storms that summer) And it also worked wonders on their seperation anxiety. If you leave thunder phobia alone it will get worse after every storm. So I’ve heard.
I don’t know about that… She has actually gotten better over time. I think that I’m the one who caused her phobia in the first place: When I got her and the first time she got scared during a thunderstorm, I held her and petted her a lot and made soothing noises. I later read in some dog behaviour books that when you try to reassure your dog if it’s scared, it helps firm their belief that there is indeed something to be scared of. If you just behave like nothings the matter, they figure out there is no danger and stop reacting over time. Which I should have thought about because it’s exactly the same with horses: when they are scared of something, you, as the handler or rider, should act like there is absolutely nothing to be scared of and it helps calm them. But I just never though of applying horse soothing techniques to a dog. Anyway, I’ve since been trying to behave naturally when we have a thunderstorm and she has improved a lot over time.
The “Pilot” one is so funny!:
“What? You want an emergency landing because there is a passenger who’s filing his nails while drinking a bottle of grape juice?”
I believe that “prototype” refers to the that sculpt of the OW, with more battle scars and head touching the wings. Melody changed the sculpt a bit before putting in in regular production, but she’s been re-painting all the old prototypes in all those lovely new test colors.

Aren’t you guys a bit early for New Year resolutions? I’m not thinking about those until January 1st! 😆

But you said it’s a work in progress, is that part not completely done?
But I do like the color scheme very much, very vibrant! 😀
Hmmmmm….
Not sure what i can do to improve that. Should i extend the white to the chest or keep it to the cheeks and get rid of the bib? There is some antiquing…but it’s hard to photograph with a flash.
is this what you mean?
I do like the one on the right a lot more, and especially the way the red fur mixes with the white fur. It does really look like fur that way! Can’t way to see new pictures.
I don’t know of any actual store that has them, but I found 3 online stores that sell the peacock one for just under $200.00
Here they are:
Hummm, I don’t know. It’s not that big a problem since we don’t often have thunderstorms… rain yes! Lots and lots of rain! But rain doesn’t scare her. I will check it out though, see if it’s available here, you never know. Thanks!
