I am happy this thread was brought up again. I have been a ferret enthusiast for the last 20 years and have owned 4 ferrets in that time. I have been hoping for a Windstone ferret sculpture for a long time, and putting wings on one sounds fun. I can only imagine what the little thieves would do if they could fly.
I’m in Chicago, and even here Sandy is supposed to have an impact by creating up to 30 foot waves tonight and tomorrow in Lake Michigan. The footage and images I’ve seen online are terrifying. I wish all you east coasters the best and be safe!
I feel your pain indeed. I graduated college over 7 years ago, and it took me about 5 years to get a job I really wanted. In the meantime I did a lot of freelance work in my field, and took other odd jobs to fill in the gaps. I remember contacting places and constantly getting rejected or not hearing anything back at all. As much as I felt like giving up, I never did. I always kept in contact with people in my field, and was constantly trying to stay on top of the changing technology in my field. It’s always good to have a few contacts in your field that you can ask questions to and get help from. I know you can do it! You have to be persistent. Hang in there and you will succeed 🙂
Yaye, happy Purply gets to visit Japan with you Moonbeam. I might very well just take one of my fuzzies with me when I go and take even more pictures. Looking at all these pictures is way too fun.
Yes, this is my first time there. I’m very excited! It would be great if the timing worked out and I can bring the fuzzy around downtown Chicago and then take him to Japan. I’d need him for at least a couple weeks though… We’ll see if it works out with everyone else 🙂 Have a safe and fun trip yourself in October Moonbeam!
I will be in Japan from Nov. 21st to the 27th. If I get him a week or so before the 21st I can take him around Chicago too.
How long will the Flat Fuzzy travels last? I live in Chicago and would be interested in having a fuzzy visit me, but I am also traveling in November to Tokyo and think it would be fun to have the fuzzy there too. But that is so far off, and it might be over by then?
Happening to me too, the post is there, it’s just hidden under a large blank block. When I refresh then everything looks normal.
I’m wondering if it is some sort of camera glitch, like 2 photos saved as one file or something, because why else would they crop 2 photos together, and they are not aligned that well either. You can see the right side of the dragon in another photo, although not very well, and it seems that it is the same dragon. Otherwise that would be very devious of someone to crop 2 different dragon photos together to hide some sort of blemish.
