I guess the one I ran over wasn’t very smart. I wonder if over time there will be fewer and fewer squirrels hit by cars. Survival of the fittest – all the dumb ones get killed before they can reproduce while the car savvy ones have the kids. I bet Darwin never thought of that as “natural selection.”
I’ve thought of that, myself. I guess GMTA. 😀
I have no advice for the tattoo itself, but I have advice for you, if you don’t have a trusted tattoo artist. Hopefully, you have friends that have tats and can point you to a good one. Make sure the shop is clean. Go for somebody that has lots of experience, unless you’ve seen their work and it’s outstanding. Go with somebody that is an artist and can draw their own flash – they will do better with what you bring them. Most artists have books of their finished tats, so you can get an idea of their finished products. Research before you buy – just like any major purchase.I would hate to see you end up with a crummy tat… or something worse. Just my 2 cents. 😀
I also think their eBay name is too close to Melody’s. Their auction description is very wordy and I don’t think everyone will bother to read it. I think the seller is deliberately trading off of Melody’s hard work. It’s a shame, too, because I think the dragon is quite lovely and would sell without them stooping so low. As it stands, I will boycott their auctions. Who’s going to email John?
Adorable! I love the key – great idea:)
He’s great, Ski! I love the bright green.
lol! DM 🙂
Thanks for the hook-up Snap!
Well Ski, that sux, but I’m sure you tried to explain things to him instead of reinforcing the idea that “all brown kids are mean”. Also, the fact that he didn’t have an arsenal of racial slurs to throw at them or use in describing them, speaks well of his upbringing.
Thank you for sharing your point of view, Goldragon2!. You can imagine how I felt when I learned that a couple of kids in my son’s school were calling him a spic. He was 10 at the time – give me a break! 👿 He never heard the term before that. Where did the kids learn it from? Their parents, most likely. People need to learn tolerance and teach their kids the same. Not all minorities are “bad” and not all white people are “good”. I think there should be a level playing field, without special treatment for any race. The world is going to pass us by, while we are busy arguing amongst ourselves. BTW, I am “white”.
eBay? lol It’s wonderful!
He is toooo cute, lady!
Wow – that is way cool!
Don’t take it to heart, asinnamon. People just seem to become more ignorant by the day. Kids have a bit of an excuse for their behavior – they’re kids after all. I like the adults that stop for no reason or stop in the middle of an aisle to chat; leave their carts in the way and walk away; push past you or practically run you over, like they are on a Mission From God. I do as much shopping online as possible. When supermarkets will do your food shopping for you, I may become a hermit. lol
I’m sorry about your griffin candle lamp – kitties can be sooooo bad sometimes:-/ I had to resculpt a piece on my dragon candle lamp. I must have bonked it when I was putting the glass holder in. I haven’t tried to mix up any paint yet, though. I’m sure it will be a challenge. lol
I think it’s kinda fun to fix them up. Mine may not be perfect, but they display nicely and that’s what counts to me. I think both of you got bargains and the end results will be worth the trouble.
That’s great so far:)
Can I jump in here and ask how many people start out with a base coat? Pros or cons? Thanks!
