Ok, I finally got to finish this one! I have so many PYOs I start and then paint altogether at the same time that when I do manage to finsh them they all seem to come roughly back-to-back. I have been dying to finish this one since I love the green colors. It has amber eyes and for once my photograph came out in a very true form! Take note…we all may just need all-white boring paper backgrounds! I’m pleased with this one and it’s a great pick-me-up from the black gold wing winged wolf.

January 19, 2007 at 6:36 am #529514I love it Water! Geeze, I wish I could crank thses guys out as fast as you do! LOL!
I REALLY wanted the Autumn Dragon, but it’s getting out of my price range *lip quiver* This one kind of reminds me of a rain forest dragon =) It just needs some bright red and it would be like a tree frog =) Hmmmmm, I guess it would help if I know what a leopard frog looked like

-J R R TolkienJanuary 19, 2007 at 4:46 pm #529518The yellows are actually like an irridescent golden. Looks awesome in person, like interferance paints. I did post him to ebay this morning. Arlla, I haven’t started your autumn wolf yet but if you wanted, I could paint a dragon instead…which you you like more for our trade?
January 19, 2007 at 5:34 pm #529519You definitely have a way with loud colours, making them work together so well. I don’t think I’d be that brave.
January 19, 2007 at 6:45 pm #529520I love this guy!!! He’s soooo…GREEN!!!! Besides here in IL there are alot of leopard frogs. They hop across roads by the thousands on wet years when it floods the Big Miss and everything is backed up…It sucks because you can see them and hear them popping under the tires and you sorta feel bad for the little buggers. 😥
January 19, 2007 at 8:04 pm #529521He’s beautiful, Water. He must be my favorite PYO to date. If I bought painted PYOs I’d definitely buy him. It looks like you’ll get good money for him. Good luck!
January 19, 2007 at 8:22 pm #529522Ya, I would love to buy something else from you Water but I can’t afford $200 a pop (no pun intended) or ebay.
I can’t really afford drag0n’s stuff either I wish I could paint something worth trading!!
January 19, 2007 at 8:35 pm #529523Practice, Cheryl! Lots and lots of practice. Your wolf turned out great – what makes you think you can’t match Ski or drag0n with practice? 😀
January 19, 2007 at 9:44 pm #529524OOh, dang that’s a TOUGH CHOICE!! I’ll have to think on this one because I like them both a lot…

-J R R TolkienJanuary 19, 2007 at 11:11 pm #529525Cheryl I like your PYOS! Besides, I take trades for more PYOs too. I can always use ’em.
And alas, I have not seen a frog in YEARS, either in Illinois or in Wisconsin…not a frog or a toad and I rarely ever hear them. I used to manage to catch so many and all…and now they seem rare occurances. Frogs are like the birds of the evening, and now the nighttime is quiet. 🙁
