Saw the specialist today, and I was very impressed. He listened, took his time, asked a lot of questions, and was very concerned. When I told him the severity of pain that happens with these attacks, he was shocked. It gave me the strong impression that this is NOT something normal…He was also really surprised that the ER did not do a ct scan when I went in…which honestly, it is a bad er. The nurses and some of the staff are really great there, and really nice….but they kinda just rule out what they think might be it and then send you home even if you still have symptoms. It was the closest hospital so there was not a lot of choice with that.
The first thing he wants to check is my pancreas function. So tomorow I have a CTscan with contrast. The pancreas is exactly where I have been having pain, so I hope something turns up.
I had a few days last week where I had no nausia and no pain for a few hours…..and it was amazing. But it was also a shock to realize just how much I have been living with pain and how it has been affecting me.
I’ve been carrying my poad around the house. He accompanies me to what ever room I am going to be in :3. Thank you mystery poad person!

Sorry about the wait. I did get it today GohstnDragon, right after I got home from my doc appointment. I wanted some time to enjoy him first.
You really did an amazing job. He looks Autumy but also like a parrot. The work you put into it deffinately shows. I asked for something with a complicated color scheme, and not only was it complicated, but you chose different spots for metalic and flat paint which was really cool. He is a wonderfull piece of work.
But something strange happened I think. You know, I just am inclined to believe that Dragonmedely mixed up my sister and mines swap partners. You see, while I love the work and inspiration, and quality put into this amazing pheonix, for some reason he just is not as appealing to me. Which is ok, because my sister was swooning over him like nothing else! He looks like a parrot she says, and she loooves parrots. The colors are perfect to her and he reminds her of a lorikeet.
Now when my sister’s swap piece arived, again, the work is amazing, but it did not truely apeal to her..but I was swooning over it! lol. So we traded.
It seems you actualy painted for my sister with out knowing it, and Apari painted for me! They were just what we wanted.

This group did this for Walking With Dinosaurs World Tour where they made life size animatronic dino’s. These are real acting puppets, the larger ones have a supporting central frame with wheels to move around but you hardly see it.
After the contest I think I’ll do a post with photos from my video and photos of the muse to explain the technique I wast trying to show better. there was a lot of information I wanted to add and explain better, but I only had one muse..and 5 minutes is sooo short!
I can’t believe you guys got so much information in your videos. My jaw really dropped.

His eyes are removable, I didn’t glue them in. So if you want a different color that is a-ok. Also, this one I did all hand brushing, base coat and all. I did not use the airbrush on him.Well I am still having a lot of upset and paint. I’ve had a few days where I didn’t have any pain or nausia and it really let me see how cronnic the acute pain is. And it is heavy enough that I have to sit down after doing about an hour or two of light house cleaning.
While I’ve not had any attacks as severe as the collapsing incident(thankfully), I’ve still been getting moments of pain that is intense enough I have to lay down immediately and start worrying. Like last night my sister was making some amazing cream of mushroom soup and I was helping her for a little bit, but while stirring the soup my discomfort shot into intense pain and nausia. I was going to try staying standing to see if it would lead into a full blown attack…but it got bad enough that I just did not want it to get worse and it was about a half hour laying down before it subsided.So I don’t think the meds are working really..And now my guts are upset all the time pretty much since the collapsing incident. I’ve dot an appointment with a gastroenterologist for this tuesday.
oh I forgot to put a note in with the one I sent about the eyes! I sent my piece with the eyes in, but they are being held in with Tacky. So you can pop them out and trade them for another pair of eyes if my swapee wants.
Oh that is lovely. I prefer colored daimonds, they are much more interesting in my opinion…but people rarely ever use them. That is really elegant.
