I’ve got a few friends with Fibromyalgia. And varying degrees of it, so I’m a bit familier with it. It’s not been brought up, but probably becuase I am not showing a lot of symptoms and symptom patterns that usualy come with Fibromyalgia.
Thanks guys. I’ve been reading all of your comment.
The last few weeks have been a little better. The elivel/Amitriptyline has been working to relieve my pts symptoms and a lot of the cronnic pain. So I can get up now and do things more normaly. It doesn’t have any bad side affects yet so far.
But the symptoms in question have not lessened. I had one bad attack and a couple minor ones, with days of intestinal discomfort.
I saw the Endochrine doctor, and he was really nice, but he was a bit insistant that he thinks the medicine is working, and that it is IBS. He upped my dosage a little, and I don’t dissagree with trying a bit higher. But he suggested I did see the gastrologist and check with him what he thinks. So I did.
I saw the Gastrologist A few days ago and went over everything with him. After explaining things, I asked about it being IBS. He was showing concern about the fact that the sypmtoms had not lessened. He does not think it is IBS, but is not ruling it out, because the pains I am having are more severe than what most people experience and I also don’t have a lot of the symptoms that come with it. Like food affecting the digestive system.
He could also see that I was not doing well in his office, and yeah, I was really feeling sick and having a hard time, and he noticed that my face was flushing from it. He is very concerned about these symptoms, but he wasn’t sure where to go next. He said he doesn’t want to stress my body out with tests that most likely will show up negative. So we decided on sticking to the higher dose of medication for a few more weeks to see if it has an affect on the symptoms, since the level of medication I was on was low to begin with, and it takes a few weeks to see a full affect from the medication.
He also is a lot more familier with this medication than the other doctor. So I go back in about two weeks. If no change has happened at all with the symptoms, than we will be looking at some other ideas. He doesn’t want me to be needlessly medicated.
So currently, I still have the same symptoms, but I am no longer stuck on the couch like I was before. So not solved, but doing a bit better.
Yay! That last one makes it clear beyond a reasonable doubt.
I would say we are definitely still looking at two possibilities. When comparing the features of the one sculpt that right now is in question of being a possible candidate, you can see what gender it is. But it’s features, when compared to the one that we know for sure is an adult, look underdeveloped to me. I feel pretty safe in saying unless a more specific question is answered, it’s a 50/50 toss up for me.

January 13, 2012 at 10:22 pm in reply to: Koishii and Grayfire New Combo Sunset Moth keeper!!! Pg# 3 #868904He’s finished. Packed with color and super sparkly. He has a lot of transitioning and most of his colors are off-shades of the normal rainbow colors. Like when you look at his back legs, the purple seemlessly transitions into the blue and green, so your blue is more blue purple, and your green more blue green. The affect is really amazing in person.
He is covered in interference that you can see as your turn him. His paint has a little texture to it. That is something that on most of my peaces I allow to develope because it adds to the affect of multiple color stransitions and the use of the interference.
Finaly he has a spray dusting of Magic Sparkle paint. That stuff I’ve seen every one using, well my sister bought some, and what would be perfect to use it on other than a rainbow themed dragon? He is SUPER sparkly.
Finaly, on all my pieces I do, including this one, all of the gold trim is done by hand with brush and paint. So this gold is not only brighter, more sparkly, but will not rub off over time. I rarely use gold, but it seemed good with the other colors this time.
He will be for sale, but we have not decided yet if he will go up on ebay or be offered here first. But if you want to make an offer, feel free to message my sister.
Got video of him up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG4B8XomNuU&feature=youtube_gdata

January 12, 2012 at 2:18 am in reply to: Found this little guy at a thrift store, looking for more information on it #868908Oh wow! photos before I posted my question! He is definately the smaller flapper, called the bat wing flap cat…and I think that color is discontinued. I know others on here can give more info on that.
But the fact that he has a name written on there is really interesting! I can’t see to well on the photo, but does it look like there is a signature on the felt pad too?
January 12, 2012 at 2:15 am in reply to: Found this little guy at a thrift store, looking for more information on it #868907I do not recall the name Huey, but flap cats are a Windstone item and there are all types, big and small, and all colors. So could you post a photo or give a detailed description of size, what he looks like(bat wings or bird wings? Long hair, or short hair? and what colors he is? That will help us a lot for giving you the extra info about him. 🙂
January 5, 2012 at 7:43 pm in reply to: Koishii and Grayfire New Combo Sunset Moth keeper!!! Pg# 3 #868271Yeah, been on new medication a few days and it is really helping with pain. I’ll update on that later. But I’ve been able to paint because of that. This keeper has been sitting for almost 2 months because I have not been able to do anything. My sister did a base coat and then was unsure of what to do with it, but when I saw it, it was perfect….I could see what it could end up being…I just couldn’t paint because of the pain. So the last 3 days I just been at this thing and he is really something. He was actualy supposed to be called Spectrum because of his rainbow look, but he has more shades then your average rainbow. Different shades of golds, greens, purples, blues, and reds really make him stand out. Here is another progress photo.
Well, yesterday I was not the happiest person.
After the last episodes I posted about, I saw the Gastroentrologist again. Since the Muscle relaxant medication did not work(or what ever it was), he had no idea what else it could be. So he brought up stress and anxiety and offered for me to try Ativan just to rule it out. I was comfortable with how much he not only knew about the affects of stress, but also how much he knew about the medication. So I decided to Try it.
It’s true I deal with a lot of stress, I’ve got ptsd and I am not all that good in social situations, so my stress levels are pretty high, a lot. But I have managed with this for well over 20 years. But I saw no harm in trying it out and seeing if it has a possitive affect, if not on the reoccurring pain, then maybe on the cronnic stress at least.
The medicine had no affect what so ever on the pain. It did loosen my back muscles, which was nice, and I did fell less tense. But for the issue that is more important, it had no affect. So I called, and told him, and he refered me to an Endocrineologist.( we had discussed this when I had seen him if the Ativan did not work) Since it was the hollidays, the soonest app I could get was for yesterday.
So yesterday I see the Endocrine Doctor. He listened, and was very nice……………………….but had no idea why I got sent to him. As far as he was concerned, nothing in my symptoms indicated that it was from hormones. Greeeaaat. So he was going to call the Gastroentrologist and find out if he had had an idea of something to test for, in the mean time he sent me to the labs for some basic blood work to check my levels any way.
He also brought up stress again. I told him the other medication I took before that did nothing, he suggested trying another one that works differently and that also has an affect on IBS(I haven’t been tested for that yet..). So why not. I might as well try another. So now I am on Amitriptyline.
This stuff has a real kick to it. I passed out yesterday for a few hours from the first dose. He wants to see me in two weeks.
I’m not sure what to do inbetween that time. I have 23 days of insurence left…and my next doc app is the 16th.
oh wow! that must have been before I joined and I missed out on it. So they had not done pearl ow’s before that then?
Thank you so much! I am really glad these guys are so well liked! I have been working on them for a few months now and I’m really happy that you guys enjoy seeing them!
I probably shouldn’t temp you, but Kyrin also had wanted it so I told her this is one I would be willing to paint again…….
