I love the rainbow colour too and then the peacock. I just need to find a rainbow fledgling dragon and I’ll be happy! I just collect the smaller pieces mostly but if you see a fledgling let me know and if I see any rainbows you like I will let you know!

I have been trying hard to get a rainbow fledgling dragon but can’t afford what people are quoting me so would love to see more of them made as I know they would sell like crazy. How come I don’t see the rainbow young or fledgling dragons anywhere on this site or if they are retired or not?

I feel like there has been something left unsaid and I don’t know about everyone else but I actually thought anything over $100 was quite expensive for me to be buying a grab bag. I only bought a poad because I realized they were all special one of a kind pieces so realized they had value but to me if the prices were raised at all I would not be able to pay more as I thought $120 was already too high. I realize for the amount of work and time that goes into them they are worth it but I can’t figure out how people can afford to buy so many of these expensive pieces.

Hannah touched on this too but it’s true that not all pieces actually sell for much more. From the grab bag poad batches I talked to a few people who were selling their poads either for what they paid or up to $150. I happened to have one I got higher offers for but didn’t feel right about selling something for over $200 so I just traded mine for a different one as I thought it was more fair. I was surprised though that some people were valuing unicorns at $350 on eBay because it made me think I would never get one. I don’t think the answer is raising prices. I think the answer is trying to keep prices affordable for the masses and keeping special items and auctions separate to raise more funds. I actually think it’s silly for people to mark up secondary prices if you get a grab bag because you may think you can sell yours for more but odds are if you are greedy about it that when one comes along you like it may be an even higher price you can’t even afford. It’s like Karma.

I also like the idea of opening up donations or painting special young unicorns to sell or auction. Or what about another batch with grab bag young unicorns for more money? Or if you need the funds right now what about pre-selling the grab bags? I would pay right now for one even if it wasn’t made yet. I do wish there was a way for Windstone to get more secondary profits from these but if they were all more money, many wouldn’t be able to afford them.

Many of us I have seen from an age poll are young or students with loans and trying to save for a house and family and don’t have a lot of income. For the ones who can afford to pay more I think doing a poll of what they would want and making specific pieces with a higher price would be something they would go for. Or take out 5 of them to auction before anyone sees the class picture and gets their hopes up. The only problem with that if 5 pieces sell for a lot more, it will drive up the secondary prices of the other ones even more and make most of them unaffordable in the future. For me, it’s the luck of the draw. I am very thankful to have the opportunity to buy a grab bag. I got a poad but was sad I missed the unicorns so as long as I can get one this time, it doesn’t matter to me which it is. I know I will like any one.

I know I wouldn’t be able to afford an auction piece unless they were close to the price you sell the others for which I guess would defeat the purpose. I like the fact that when we buy the grab bags we are hoping for certain ones we think are special and even if we don’t get the one we want, I have found most people will trade them one for one instead of selling them for exuberant amounts that most can’t afford. Trading to me seems more fair than placing super high values on some and not others.

I was messaging with someone who had a dragon I thought I offered a fair amount for and was quite surprised when she told me she paid 3-4 times the amount I offered for it. It made me feel like I would never have one I wanted that some people could pay so much more for. For those who can afford special pieces though, I would agree that doing a separate special batch of unicorns different than the grab bag ones and selling them or auctioning them off would be better. Just my thoughts.

I would love to see more baby autumn leaf poads too! I am saving to buy an adult autumn leaf poad but can someone tell me what the previous adult poads sold for, like the peacock ones? I want to buy one from someone but I have no idea what they used to sell for or what they are worth as I have never purchased a big poad before.
