I have the “Hot!” in the regular green. Didn’t know they made one in red, but I don’t really “study” Pockets. I don’t like that “Splinter” one. Makes me wince just looking at the pictures! Yikes!
Yeah, I barely knew what they made.. just what I have, lol, we bought mine in a small shop in the mall forever ago, never really looked into them much since.. I have the “hot hot hot” dragon too, they make a cute pair, once I find the rest of my collection I’ll take a photo of the pair 🙂 Those two and the one jumping onto the Panic button are my faves of my collection ^-^
And right? lol, I always kind of had the ‘Yikes!” feeling when seeing the splinter one, I just tried to not think about it too much, haha
That’s a blast from the past. I grew up in Texas and Real Musgrave had a booth at the Texas Renaissance Festival and I would treat myself to one of his prints each year. I remember the first time I saw one of the figurines (years later) and I thought “gee, those look like they were based on Real Musgraves’s prints” – duh! 😉
Nice! 🙂 My family and I stumbled into the Pocket Dragon figures at random in a lil shop, when gift shops were a lot easier to find! lol… I’ve collected dragons since I was a little girl, so they were definitely something I enjoyed collecting before they “retired” them all.. but over the years and many moves, they’ve made less and less appearances out of their boxes..
I know we talk a lot on this thread about upcoming GBs, but are there any new production colours or sculpts coming out?
Oh, say for example, Brown Standing Baby KiRins, Jet Black Flap and Flip Flap Cats, Baby Dragons in Copper Patina (I know that the casting process is better and that there are fewer rejects, but since they are the same price as the non-rejects, is there any way that you could do a run of copper? It would be really nice to have a Copper Patina baby to complete the family), and Small and Mouse Wizards in the same colours as the large wizards.

I’m also voting for more CP… I adore the color and have been really wanting a V2 CP Male Griffin… I don’t see why the color has to stop being produced all because the castings are better now?
Well, to a big surprise I found out one of the dragons I’ve been intending to keep is actually pretty darn rare! If there are collectors out there who are better at being able to decipher the forums, maybe someone could look up and get me a fairly accurate value/back story on “Hotter Hotter Hotter” (The red dragon with a green chilli pepper) … Go figure though, the *one* Pocket Dragon I never had the original box for, is the one that would be rare, heh… My family bought him for me for Christmas forever ago, and the shop they bought him from put him in the wrong box >.<
Well apparently I only got out a couple of them from one of my boxes, lol.. but I for sure have these two that I am willing to sell.. I’ll see if I can figure out which box the others are in, lol..

I like the ‘Few different choices” option ^.^ … My luck never works into my favor (Unless really awesome forum members are giving my luck a boost, lol) .. so I never think I’m going to win, but it is fun to try!
A quick WIP of my newest lil brat ;p lol! I’m currently calling this one “Hellbat” because his inspiration was a creature from Diablo 3 that is a Hellbat, lmao… dunno if the name will stick though, I feel like he deserves a better one, lol ^.^
It’s a cruddy cell phone photo and wonky lighting… he’s a dark gunmetal, silver and turquoise… and once I figure out how to do it right, his horns and claws will look like Stag Antlers (Like what you would find on a stag handled knife) … I was arguing with his silver to blend correctly (One would think getting a nice blend between silver and black wouldn’t be difficult, but this guy does not like cooperating, haha) so I decided to fuss with the horns… which conveniently enough, are also being a pain in my tush XD … So naturally, I’m like *Fine! I’ll take your photo and show everyone!* haha.. He’ll be for sale when he’s all done 🙂 – I really need to get a daylight photo of him… Maybe I’ll do that tomorrow, see how he comes along tonight…

This is nifty info to have.. My Emp and Scratcher both has minor scale chips on their gold, I’ve gone slightly insane wondering how I was going to paint match the gold, haha
I’m excited to see mine this year, I adore getting them! (And should make a habit to send my own cards! It’s just been a crazy weird year for me, so even though I wanted to, I just didn’t get it)
I’ve been watching the postal service SLACK this year… I have 3 Christmas presents that have been sitting in their own individual post offices for 3 days now, I’m *seriously* worried about them getting to me in time… and an unrelated box that was coming to me Priority took 6 days to get to me, instead of the 2 it was supposed to take.. and a Windstone I mailed not only took a serious derail, but also just sat in the post office it derailed to for a few days before they got it moving to the right destination… So I’m sure the cards are doing the same kind of thing…Ah, she’s beautiful! Congratulations on her. I’m not usually a huge fan of the natural horse markings on the unicorn sculpts but this girl is so very lovely. Your dry brushing is AWESOME!
Eee, I love her tiny freckles of darker and lighter color in the dark part of her coat! It’s super realistic!
Aw thank you!! Actually, there is no dry brushing, I literally paint each individual hair with watered down white or really light grey paint. She has several layers of roaning hairs, which as I’m sure you can imagine took FOREVER. But it gives her more depth imo.
