I’ve not seen the ones with the orange eyes before, at least not in the emerald…..Meh, you all put up a good fight though =P
The oragne eyed Emerlads are very rare. I think they must have been like the prototypes they are selling now on e-bay. Like one of a kind sort of items.
I prefer the red eyes myselfI think Melody said that the orange eyes were a mistake, as she didn’t realize they existed until some forum members showed her.
I draw dragons, too! π

My art: featherdust.comIndeed, there are severe limitations to the gypsum medium (they have to not only and support their own weight, but also cast correctly, and importantly- survive shipping!)
Here’s Melody’s thoughts on it from another topic…

What do you think about having some bronze works? Carving the sculptures in wax and sending off to a foundry for a casting. I know that they would be beyond expensive…but totally worth it. It would not have the amazing colors perhaps…but would be forever sound with almost no chance of breaking! I would love to own one myself.
Ever tried this? Its lots of fun! Even dumb me has a bronze that I did…I love it so much even if its not “seller”.Oh yes , we are always thinking about this. Maybe someday! Just for the luxury of not making everything “clumpy”. It would be a delight to sculpt a dragon or animal with real legs for once.

My art: featherdust.comYeah, unfortunately like most MMORPGs, it does cost to play.. this one is $12.00/month. :/

My art: featherdust.comGetting stuff framed is expensive- I’ll third (or fourth?) that!
I finally got all the stuff I need to do my own framing, and it’s not at all inexpensive. Half the time I wish I’d save myself the headache and take things to a framer to do, but at the end of the day I feel accomplished! π Any sort of frame that is custom cut to a piece of art is very costly.Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Your husband makes those wicked cool fantasy fossils? Did he show them at Dragon*Con this year by any chance? There were some amazing ones there but I couldn’t afford the dragon I liked.
He was not at DragonCon. You can see his other fossils (including a dragon one) on my Web site, address listed below.
Where is DragonCon and is there a Web site for it?
My apologies! I found the person whose work I saw there:
http://www.battleduck.com/I saw your husband’s dragon but I’m one of those people that hates faeries and so the wings don’t appeal to me too much. It’s VERY nice work though!!
Dragon*Con, as starbreeze already linked to it, is a huge fantasy/sci-fi convention held in Atlanta every year. This year we broke 30,000 people in attendance!

Thats funny. To me the marks just look random. There is no pattern, you know? Looks kinda sloppy. Funny how tastes can vary so much.
I agree π

Yeah!! π
Dragons are a playable and sentient race in the game, and once you ‘grow up’ (you start as a hatchling) you can fly! You can build your own lair too. π
