She has a matte topcoat on her fur, and her wings and nose are glossed. She has metallic tan eyes and detailing on her wings in Interference gold.

Heyyy.. that’s a good idea! I was trying to figure out exactly how I was going to paint that guy – my initial thought was to be in a coloration similar to the “Beast” that I repainted, but.. man.. I may need to go with that!

I know there’s at least one more I never posted (Kay’s thread actually reminded me to look for these, because the other one I did was around Christmastime, for my boyfriend – a small dragon in a Maleficent scheme XD), but I’ll have to track them down later 🙂

I have a few PYOs that I’ve done that I’ll need to track down and post pictures of, but for now, here’s what’s on my desk that I’m working on. She’s based on a cat that my family used to take care of years ago, named Puff 🙂 I have limited pictures of her but I think she’s going to turn out well. The wings need to be cleaned up and her fur will be antiqued, but I’m liking the way she is looking so far 🙂

I would just say that no matter what, be gentle when you antique. Even after clear coating, I have rubbed paint off from being too diligent! Use a sponge or soft paper towel, and don’t rub too hard, and you should be fine 🙂Commission spots are currently closed! Please message me for details.

I am going to gather the Poads that I end up with, pick a couple to keep forever, sell the others (or hold them back for trades later), and then remove the tuft from the ones I will be keeping. I will either be filling in the little hole (it’s a divet, from what I can see from looking at the base of the tuft) with apoxie or inserting a gem to cover it up. But yes, I really dislike the tuft on these guys.. it makes the sculpt feel cheaper to me.
