I’m sorry, but the expiration dates on the classified ads are not supposed to be “choose your own” – something is wrong. We’ve had so many other things wrong that no one’s had a chance to fix that. I’m not sure how long the ads are supposed to run – I’m sure it says in the instructions for them – that is something I haven’t been involved in. Sorry for the confusion, but it will get fixed eventually.

It’s nice not having to worry about your ad expiring, but it also makes it difficult, if not impossible to be able to tell easily what ads are new. Previously, the newest ads would show up at the bottom.
I realize some people tended to continually “bump” their ads by renewing the date several times before the expiration, but most did not. At least with the set expiration system there was a semblance of “new” and “old” ads. At this point you just have to see what the oldest ad is, and go even further to get yours to appear at the end of the list :/

I figured I'd grab a quick photo of my pebbles in their current state, though a short lived current state? lol.. couple of them will be off to new homes… apparently I never stop fine tuning my collection, though I am rather fond of it's look like this (and why I wanted a photo of them all together) I have hopes to bring in some new pieces and shift things around a lil more, yet again, haha…

HELLO THERE WIP dragons!! Is that your Hellfire over there? I never would believe it, but I might like that scheme better on a small dragon than a Keeper. Wooee, he’s beautiful!

When I began collecting, I had stumbled on the site after vaguely recollecting the name “M Pena” from my childhood (I would stare at the Dragons in the window of a local shop! But that’s another story entirely).
In any case, I remember finding the website and being absolutely THRILLED that they had Paint Your Own Windstones, and at such an affordable price! Being an artist, it was like a dream to see. However, at that time they were out of everything but Griffins and Small Dragons (I recall it took me months to get my hands on a Keeper!), so technically I think those were my first Windstones.
However, my first piece that was not a PYO was, I believe, an Old Brown Male Dragon (whom I still have!) and who started my love for the Male Dragon sculpt in general 🙂
As far as my collection goes.. I will be moving this summer and have been holding off from taking pictures until I have them all moved into their new home.. but I may be tempted to take some pictures before then, since it will be July or August before all of the moving is complete!

Same here. If people are harassed about things, there are mods that can help take care of that – however, it has never happened to me on this forum, and I’ve been around for almost every single grab bag batch.
Still, we can’t discount the fact that there are likely people who purchase grab bags that are not on the forums, or do not have cameras, or don’t think their pictures are suitable to post, or can’t figure out HOW to post them (since the forums operate on HTML, which is relatively complicated for new users), etc. I think not posting because people don’t want to have to deal with trade requests is (hopefully, at least) in the minority of the reasons.

I definitely like the wolf that I got from my boyfriend better, so this guy will be up for trade, or possibly sale (but going for a trade first!) 🙂I’m not sure what this is – a Boxer? A Shepard of some sort?

XD I know what pearlex looks like when it’s mixed into paints and it really makes the paint look dynamic and beautiful! So even if your camera didn’t pick it up completely, I can totally imagine it and it’s gorgeous! 🙂 Beautiful job!
