Did you get the address when you got your partner for the swap? I did.

Be afraid, very afraid of……..Pink!

What package weights 15.80 lbs? Even more excited now!
The Old Warrior weighs 14.20 lbs without any packing … We’re all excited for (and with) you. 🙂
The weight for the pieces in the store are not their actual weight. For example the store lists my lap as 9lbs but I weighed her and she weighs about 5-6 lbs. I’m thinking the store weights are the shipping weight. If that’s the case then my guess is for an emperor being in the box. 😮
Can’t wait to see what it is!
Mine’s ready to go after a photo shoot.
If those of you having troubles finding the right size rhinestone have a Claire’s, try going there to get gems. that’s where I got mine. I picked up a pack of 5 or 6 pairs of small prong set rhinestone earrings but never wear them so I dismantled them. I used my nails to pry back the prongs and the rhinestones happened to be a good size for the muse.
I got an online estimate on how much it would cost to ship a fedgie from Canada to the US. The price was hugely dependent on the size and weight of the box. A regular parcel was around $30 but if you have a small and light enough box you could ship it as a small parcel for around $12-15. With the fledgie it’d be really close as to whether it’s a small parcel or not. The dimensions have to add up to 90cm or less(approx 3ft) and it has to weight less than 1kg (approx 2.2lbs), which is what I used for my estimate. Based on this, his price for shipping to the US is reasonable if he double boxes and the dimensions and/or weight of the box he ships the fledgie in is too big/heavy to be shipped as a small parcel. That said his shipping calculator is wrong for shipping to Canada. It says he’s in BC but the fledgie would ship to Canada via USPS instead of Canada post. 🙄
Oh, and I can see no chips in any of the pictures. The white spots in the pictures look to me like glare from the camera.

That seriously looks like my cat. Fur,paws, face, and everything 😮
The crackle look in those pictures kinda looks to me like plastic that’s been bent slightly creating micro cracks. Maybe the clear coat was a bit thick(I believe clear coat is more rigid than paint) and some expansion/contraction occurred cracking the clear coat.
Got mine, too!! 😀

Yes, there’s eight of each eye color (so 24 in total). I think they may also have more stock not in the store yet of muse because there was a lot less in the store when I order mine. So, hopefully we should be ok.
I’m in – email sent. 😀

I used to do that, but then people wouldn’t be on the forums and wouldn’t know which pieces aren’t available, etc., so I’ve stopped. I’ve also found that the people who have to be emailed can be late and have to be poked and stuff, making it an not-so-great experience on both ends. Therefore, it’s better if swap participants are regularly on the forums – you don’t have to be posting (we have participants who are dedicated lurkers), but to be here and informed. It more fair for everyone and less hair torn off my head 😀
Ok, I thought I’d try. I look forward to any swaps might occur. Hopefully I’ll be able to participate in them and cause no hair pulling. 8)

I’d like to see some thing with multiple dragons in the picture. May be in the rainbow, black gold, fire red, peacock and/or amythest colors. Old Warriors, Laps, Males, Fledglings, and Curled dragons are the sculptures I’d like to see in the pics(either on their own or in a multiples shot). Perhaps for a multiples shot you could do a “Council of Dragons”. I seen at least one forums member do a shot where they arranged their dragon in a circle as though they were having a council. I believe the shot was done with OWs but Laps would probably work just as well.
What are the odds?!…
I haven’t been on the forums hardly at all lately…
I haven’t gotten an new windstone from the store in a long while…
I decide to go on the forums and probably not ten minutes later I hear *ding dong* and what’s at my door…
a Rainbow Lap Dragon! What are the odds of my Christmas present showing up on one of the rare occasions I go on to the forums?! 😮
OK time to do a happy dance! 😀 She is sooo pretty!
(just had to share that!)
Thank you, Melody! Mine just arrived today it’s beautiful. (and the inside text is hilarious)
