This little fella just arrived. Not what I was looking for but as the one I was in love with I’d already with Aggie, I’ll put this one up for trade for a darker one. I really want a dark with orange/red but I’m not sure there are any others like that so I’ll look at anything dark.
This fella has a base of light brown, tan & cream but has scattered color shift in reds on the base cost. He also has magic paint, and an intricate design in color shift. More color shift in purples details his wings and he has lavender eyes. It’s a great, intricate paint job.
Wow! I just love yours, sort of natural with fantasy, This grab bag is detailed and lovely. Wish there was more.
I was just curious, did any get set aside for eBay? I was looking at the pics from the factory and the class picture and noticed one or two not in it. Maybe for those that missed the batch there is hope to grab one on eBay.
So beautiful! Great job, I love the blue on the fish parts.
February 6, 2016 at 2:08 pm in reply to: Safari | Simple | Hoppy – GB Young Poad Show Off Thread! #941274I am super curious as to what the next grab bag is. The hint in the blog is driving me crazy =). Looking through the factory pictures trying to figure out what it is. Maybe it’s color shift pebbles or color shift tadpoads.
February 3, 2016 at 1:03 am in reply to: [New Sculpts added May 3!] Wire Art Sculptures for sale – Flower Blooms on Stones #941093I think these are fantastic. They remind me of Japanese trees, maybe cherry blossoms. The stones are a nice touch. My son and I collect polished stones and it really brings it all together. Great job!
I have a ‘Newer’ Squeak… I haven’t been on in a while, (So inform me if I have missed some updates on these requests in the forums):
ETA on the Short-hair PYO Flap Cats, and any/all Oriental PYO’s?
” I did finally manage to buy the Hippocamp PYO today.” I am very excited about that too! I would love to buy some of both the Long Hair, and the Short Hair PYO Flapcats, because Fur Babies have passed, and they are great for painting memorials.
*crossing fingers* Thank you in advance 🙂
The PYO Oriental sculpture is pretty much finished , just waiting on horn stuff… which seems to move at a glacial pace-or not at all.
Marco the mold maker IS working on it! Really! I am waiting for some epoxy parts to cure, to make perfect horn “masters”, so that the pyo horns will fit perfectly. Our regular Oriental horns require some fussing-around-with to get them to fit properly, and glue in straight. Don’t want to make you guys go through that with a pyo.
Yeah, the PYO short haired flapcat is still sitting here. Need to find time to work on him. I’ve been busy on a grabbag batch of items that I didn’t manage to get finished for January.I thought the lucky llamas was January’s grab bag. Or maybe they were just a nice surprise.
I still haven’t figured out a good place for photographing congas, but I did manage to get these guys to line up and hold still. Production hatching pegasus (far left) and some test paints.
Ok I was doing ok with the dragons but then cherish and etuscan had to bust out the hoofers and now I’m super jealous! Wow! Those hatching ones, the test paints are super pretty!
congrats! The griffin is beautiful!
So cute!! I love them. The dragon looks like he just ate a huge meal and the sad looking bear with his one Apple. So sweet! Great job!
That made me smile 🙂
They found fossils of mammoths, bison and camels at Oregon State U ! http://www.gazettetimes.com/news/local/mammoth-bones-found-at-osu-construction-site/article_9fd29de9-69f3-5c37-8226-888653301810.html
That is crazy! I love stuff like that. My children and I go to a fossil museum and shark tooth dig pile every couple months. The amount of teeth and size are huge and we never tire of looking at the fossils.
Wherever they go hopefully I can snag one. I just love them.
Melody said there was around 25 so maybe if a few more were painted it could be a super small grab bag like the llamas, grab bag fennecs and the curlies. If I recall not a lot of those were made. The llamas only being 38 made I think.
