We received Pinky today. he’s just perfect. A wonderful addition to my baby ki-rin army. We will try to get pictures up this weekend. Thanks Melody and PS. I wuvs my wittle baby. :bigsmile:
This is why amazon and others do pre-orders. Of course their items usually have production runs of 10’s or 100’s of thousands, not 50 to 75 at best (more like 15 or 20 lately ). Of course pre-ordering could let you know that you have to make 150 or so. Then you start billing the pre-orders (in the order received) when you have 100 finished and the rest in process. You have say two days to pay or you move to the back of the line. Heck, I’d travel up there to handle the billing as needed for free to make it work – stay for a few days to handle the crunch and then go back home until the next big new release. I know, we keep trying to figure out how to make pre-orders work for you. One of these days we’ll figure it out.
It is appropriate as it will be a Valentine gift for my lovely wife who is the collector of Unicorns, and especially loves the Ki-Rins.

So now since there are two collectors in the house, which of us gets to enter future raffles? (It would have to be for dragons – his collection – as I now have a unicorn 🙂 )
Hills Science Diet has a prescription food for urinary tract problems. Purina One also has a urinary tract formula and is a regular food. That is the one I am giving my cats because I have two and they are free-fed so it would be very hard to feed them separate foods. So far I haven’t had any more problems with the older cat (the one who had the incident). Never give a cat dog food. Dog food has no taurine which cats need because they do not make it themselves.
If your vet is willing, and you are willing, your vet may be able to provide the antibiotic in injection form. I did this for one of my cats that drooled so badly after administering the pills that she looked like she was foaming at the mouth. It is more expensive, but it will insure that the cat gets the full dose of the antibiotic.
Good luck and I hope it all works out. It is always hard, but even more so when the animal is so young.
I just automatically went to Advanced Search and pasted the search phrase in the box for ‘containing the phrase’. The first and third searches were fairly easy. The 2nd one gave me four pages of results. That took quite a bit as some of the results were very picture heavy and multiple pages each. Next time it is a one word phrase, I’ll have to take over the computer with the faster connection…
OK. That is one we have. Just never clicked that it was an oriental dragon. Same with the one from the member set, it too is an oriental. Don’t know why it didn’t register with my brain. Maybe because there isn’t a lot of long body or tail?
He collects dragons, I collect unicorns. (this was the account I made to order our first large catch-up order from windstone. When I didn’t get him the updated password, he made his own account – dragon61, so I just kept this one. Just haven’t changed the name…)
When did the Asian Dragon with Topaz eyes on a Teak Wood base come out. That’s not the one for the zodiac set it is?
Guess I’ll have to renew my membership (at least for this year). I have the Fabulous Creatures (Unicorn, Dragon, Pegasus) from 96-98. (The only pegasus I am allowed to have 😉 )
Branzy is that the one that is part of the chinese zodiac set or yet another Swarovski Chinese Dragon?

I _might_ trade for one I had all my digits crossed for if it works out, but otherwise I’m gonna keep him. What a cutie. Can’t wait to get him out in the sunlight and get more pics!

Like Syn, Dragon61 & I purchased a piece from her, the brown hatching kinglet. She created an auction and it all went through ebay. While it could have been packed better, it arrived just fine in one piece and looks “mint”. (no box – but then kinglets don’t get cardboard inserts, so there is less incentive to save the box – and I don’t remember if it had tag or not, the kinglet is in the other room.)
