I can’t start right away: I need to order! Then it takes around 1 to 2 weeks to get it… Man, I’m not gonna get any sleep!
I need more valium.

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmMaybe Christmas might be easier than birthdays. With Christmas, it’s the same date for everyone. Birthdays are just weird that way 😉

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmI’m fretting, like, totally! I’ve never even thought of attempting something like this.

I can see where Windstone is coming from with their copyright, but I don’t see too many PYO painting options without gold/silver trim. The figures seem to beg for that sort of trim. Perhaps they could change the molds a bit and add “PYO” on it somewhere? Maybe next to the copyright M Pena? I am painting mine for my own pleasure, but maybe it will end up as part of my estate sale somewhere down the line (rotten kids lol). Even if I sign the felt, it can be taken off. Perhaps something more permanent will help distinguish PYOs from regular production and give the very talented artists (and amateurs) more leeway.
I think the indented Windstone stamp on the bottom takes care of that. The regular production pieces have a smooth bottom.
So, should I simply touch him up with the darker silver? Would I have to change all the gold too? The trim at the bottom of the wings is a dark metallic grey; the gold could be changed to black. I don’t know what to do ❗ ❗ ❗

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmI seem to have opened up a can of worms here! The reason why I’m letting him go is because I want to do a silver with yellow eyes; no point in having 2 silvers, really.
Initially, the contrast between the two darker silvers was to sharp for me, so I added a thin coat of the lighter silver overall, hence, I think, the ressemblance with the Old Warrior. In truth, the mix I made was silver and green. He has none of the blue & purple overtones of the Old Warrior.
All this to say that if someone is indeed interested, but would rather he looked a little different, I can touch him up.
Whew!

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmHi everyone! I’m letting go of my silver PYO dragon. I wanted to know if anyone here was interested before I put it up on Ebay. If you are, PM me your offer.

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmThe flash is making the contrast a lot stronger. The mask around the eyes doesn’t look that dark in person.
I tried antiquing in a small part of the leg, and it didn’t do much except make it look messy, so I dunno. I’ve never antiqued before, so I might have done it wrong. When I wiped down, I ended up removing almost everything because the crevasses looked too dark.

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmAfter I don’t know how long, here’s my second dragon. I tried a new pearl scellant and it changed the colors, so I had to add another coat 😥 How frustrating.
I call him Sapphire.

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmI’ll have to order too. I’m going to wait for the color/pattern, though. Some might look better on a wolf, griffin, etc.

I think she said 2 months…
Duh! That’ll teach me to read more thoroughly. 2 months should be enough, even for me! I’m signing up.
