My heart says YEESSSS and my wallet pitifully wails but nooooooo…

Same here! It would be awesome to see a rock dragon in blue morpho. I’d vote for it.

i’m with these two. I have worked with ink and chalk pastels in the recesses, but am also curious on only using pastels. Are they soft or creamy ones like senileils, chailky like prismas or cake like panpastels?

I’d like to know about them too please.

That autumn leaf rock dragon is absolutely stunning. Love the colors. He went way out of my price range though. I’d love to see more pieces in that color scheme.

I went with pebbles because so many people had been asking for them and I found a stash of fennecs on a cart Melody told me I could steal from. 🙂 (For the quest, not for me – sadly ;))

Please feel free to throw out ideas on what kinds of prizes you’d like to see! I can at least usually influence what gets picked. 🙂

I’d like to see dragon prizes. Or maybe Windstone gift certificates. Is gift certificate thing possible or is there some kind of legal thing that might get in the way?

We do a lot of dragons. 🙂 I can pretty much guarantee one of the next couple of quests will have a dragon prize.

There’s no law against gift certificates that I’m aware of – I think we just haven’t done them because quest prizes tend to be pieces that aren’t quite good enough to go on ebay or in the store. Gift certificates would be used on perfectly sell-able pieces so aren’t quite as good for Windstone. 🙂

Yay! Dragons! Though i mainly collect dragons, I too will take a free windstone any day, no matter what it is. 🙂 About the gift certificates, i feel dumb for asking about them now. Thought about it after i posted it. Everyone is right. They just couldn’t compete with an ooak piece. Sucks all the fun out of a quest.

I barely got one! So happy. Been waiting on this one for awhile. Couldn’t afford it per se, but I guess it’s ramen for the next two weeks. When I looked (a literal minute after they were released) I only saw 4 in stock. Was that all there was I wonder?

Thanks everyone! This is very informative info. Don’t feel bad about text length. I read it all and I’ve been taking notes.

Kiya – Thanks for the recipe link. 🙂

96037 – Thanks! Any help will be much appreciated. And congrats on the weight loss. That’s quite an accomplishment. No doubt it’ll help you in the long run. Whoo, I need to make a shopping list now.

Susie – Thanks for the tips. If I’m not mistaken, I may have seen that brand in one of the stores in my town. Hmmm, now if I could just remember which store it was. 😛 I’ve recently switched to almond milk. It’s pretty good and no bad aftertaste like regular cow’s milk.

Lasohaney – Thanks for the info. I’m taking notes and compiling a list of ideas. I’m almost at your past weight myself. I’m a bit on the taller side, but I think I need to loose about 50lbs to be at the proper weight for a woman of my age and height. I agree, falling off the bandwagon is just too easy if you deprive yourself completely of those little indulgences. That’s what get’s me every time. If I do that I usually last about a week, then after that I go nuts and overdo the treats. I made the mistake of going shopping on an empty stomach. Never doing that again. I don’t have kids right now so no worries about the begging for chips and cookies. XP

Kila26 – Thanks for the link!

Maplecarver – Thanks for the recipe/advice. I can always substitute the dairy with some other dairy-like ingredient.

Etruscan – I agree with that for sure.

StormDancer – That sounds like an interesting book and from what I can see it has good reviews too. I may have to make the investment in it. Eating exactly how the book says might be a challenge in itself but I’m willing to give it shot. Nothing else has worked with me so far.

Kim – Thanks for the education. I tried the banana avocado smoothie today with a dash spiru-tein powered. I love avocados, but never thought to make a smoothie out of them. It was really yum! That got me thinking, what do I have around the house I could put together? I ended up making a soup with boiled spinach/kale mix, mushrooms, onions, basil, and pepper in vegetable broth. It turned out better than expected. It tasted almost just like chicken noodle soup. The mushrooms replaced the chicken texture and the spinach/kale leaves replaced the noodle. I might have to add celery next time though instead of onions because they turn to sugar right? I don’t tend to drink plain milk. Has a bad aftertaste anyway, but I admit I love cheese. I’ve heard there are cheese alternatives made from other things like almonds and such I’d like to try. Some things aren’t readily available in my area. Unfortunately, Walmart is basically the only grocery store in town. 🙁
As far as tap water goes, yuk! The tap water where I live stinks, literally, and it tastes like it smells. It’s like they mixed stagnant pond water with pool water. Hence, I always drink bottled spring water.
Yeah, not a yogurt fan anyway. Greek yogurt is too grainy. With deep fried foods, I don’t tend to eat them too much because the side effects of not having a gallbladder. Some people never no it’s gone and then some people like myself, it’s a nightmare to go out to eat anywhere.

Jennifer – Sure, I’m open to non-vegan options too. 🙂 I do eat meat as well, though I need to cut back on how much I’ve been eating. I’d be happy to see any recipes when you have the time to get them together. Thanks!

Whoo! My first quest! Sent off my entry (hopefully I did it right. Always worry about that kind of thing). Loved this crossword and it was fun. Of course I’m bias because I love puzzles, heh. Learned a lot of interesting facts. Great job putting this together. Found most of the answers right away, but got hung up on 3 of them. Really had to dig to find those difficult three, but that’s what made it the most fun for me personally. Hopefully I found the right answers for them. They fit in the boxes anyway. :p

Can we see the answer key after the quest is over?

The Blue Morpho OW MIGHT be released sometime next week! I don’t mean to sound like a crybaby but…oh please, please, please do a second batch of Blue Morpho OW dragons! I’m going to guess this first batch will sell out relatively quickly when they’re released. I won’t have enough money to buy one for at least a month or two. It’s my favorite sculpt! T_T *back to grown up mode*

I’ve have a tiny collection, but I’ve only started collecting in January of this year so maybe over time it’ll grow….if my wallet will allow it that is. We’ll see. 😉 Thank goodness I only collect dragons. I’d be in big trouble if I liked everything else.

                        Dragons –

                        Ruby OW (Dark Ruby)
                        Ruby Lap
RF Fledgling (Hoping to add an RF OW or Lap someday.)
Blue Morpho Fledgling (Hoping to add a Blue Morpho Lap and OW someday with these too!)
                        Dragon Bookends Set
Unpainted PYO Dragon I’ll get around to painting eventually.

Thanks for posting pics so we can see her “in person”. Ah, she’s gorgeous. Now i have to have one! My blue morpho fledge is all by himself right now. I guess the next batch release might have an extra lap. 😉

Heh, a few of these creatures remind me of some kind of anime characters, esp. the first one. XD And now the song, Weird Science by Oingo Boingo is in my head. Lol

My “Blue Morpho” lap is here – I don’t like her and she does not like me (she is glaring at me as I type this). **sigh** Obviously she is not a well behaved dragon either. She snuck out of the factory with one horn not glued in.

I’ll give it a few days, but I suspect this dragon will be headed to a happier home. Probably my fault for breaking my “No Lap Dragon” rule … but she looked so nice in her photos. 🙁

Aw, that’s sad. If I wasn’t waiting to see the exact price of the Blue Morpho OW, I would take her in if you decided she needed to leave. 🙁 The lap is my second favorite sculpt. So difficult to choose between the lap and OW when they might be released so close together.

Do you think you could post a picture of her?

Thanks for the RF info Kiya! Oh, I just realized…sorry for hijacking your thread earlier Drag0nfeathers. Still learning forum etiquette.

Hope someday the Windstone crew can find a stable paint to make an orange monarch coloring. I agree they would compliment the blue morpho very nicely. I’m not a fan of orange by itself, but I would likely buy one to put with a blue morpho. 😉
