Saw this on Pinterest. Sure they changed it up a tiny bit, but it’s still pretty obvious, imo.

Some kind of weird candle.
Oh, okay. I DID overlook it. Got it figured out. Thank you. 😁
I can upload photo thumbnails, but there’s no option to “insert into content” via my iPhone. Am I overlooking something?
Thank you for the tip Ela_Hara. I’ve revised the listing. I certainly don’t want to disappoint a buyer, especially on eBay.
Thank you for your support, Pipsxlch. I’ve read a lot of people are dumping Etsy because of their fees as well. They have fee tiers in addition to sales fees and its a bit odd, honestly. I suppose it’s better for people who make a lot of sales vs a small seller like me. Personally, I prefer eBay, but it also feels like crafty-type things don’t sell well there unless you’re well established. Ah, I’ll figure it out eventually. 😂
Thank you, Bodine. The clay I use is Sculpey Premo. The company has several types of clay, however, its Premo line is one of the strongest, less prone to breaking, and remains slightly flexible after curing. It’s non-toxic, but also not food safe at the same time. I did a little research and there is a lot of differing opinions for aquarium use. Some say it is safe, others say it’s not. I suppose it would just have to be a personal decision. If you want to try it I’d suggest applying some kind of aquarium-safe sealant just in case the pigments try to leach out over time.
Another polyclay thing made for my 1yo niece. She really seems to like this cartoon called, Bob The Train, so my sister asked for an ornament.
I’ve moved my dragon pendant over to eBay for a bit. It’s hard to choose which website would be better for selling these kinds of things. Anyone have experience with this?
Very cool work! The jellies are really nice, imo. ♥️
I baked him on the shell. The sculpey brand clay bakes at a relatively low temperature of 275 degrees. Generally, you don’t have to worry about baking polymer clays with ceramics (glazed or unglazed), glass, metals, or natural materials like stones, shells, and even raw wood. I avoid plastics unless it’s plastic glitter embedded in the clay. Some plastics are heat resistant, but I’d rather not take the chance of melting plastic in my oven. Apparently, you can even paint acrylic paints on the clay BEFORE baking and then bake your sculpture. I haven’t tried it myself, but I have baked chalk pastels and pearl-ex pigment powders without issue.
Lol! Awww, they’re curiously cute even though they look like something from another planet. I always wonder what they think of us humans. 😆
Thank you Pipsxlch and Merrillannwhite. 😊
Thank you so much! ♥️😊 Both are available in my Etsy shop.
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything. Life happens. I’m late, but I hope everyone is having a good start to the new year. I wanted to share these two sculpts I made recently with you all. Any constructive critics will be appreciated. They’re made with Sculpey Premo and Super Sculpey clays. The eyes on the octopus glow in the dark just for a bit of added fun.
Thank you everyone. She meant the world to me.
Beautiful work!
They’re made from Sculpey Premo polymer oven bake clay and glitter.
Thanks you. ☺️
