When I started collecting, I figured I’d get about 30 and then stop. Well, I got to 30 all right!

My original collection that I had forever and when I joined the forum 2 years and 10 weeks ago was a grand total of 2 – a Peacock Young and a Peacock Small Wizard. Number 400 arrived on January 31st (a special ebay piece) and number 405 should be here by the end of the week (Thanks, Soulscape).

Some have come from forum members, some from local classifieds, some from eBay sales, but most have come from the store or the store via eBay. They are all in their forever home and are no doubt awaiting the arrival of more. 😉

Many changes have come about in the last couple of years. For example, when I joined the forum, I was a real purist and thought that unicorns “should” only be white. Thanks to Melody for changing my mind on this. My Grab Bag herd will certainly attest to the colour variables of unicorns.

I had never heard of a Poad, either. Now, there is a whole clutter at my house. 🙂

0.0 you win. I’m done lol I may have 200 total and I dont have any more space to *properly* display them. They are cluttering every surface of my bedroom…but then again my collection is mostly big pieces and a few little ones. I can justify spending $600-$800 on a piece if its big *shifty eyes* right? hahah

Man, I’d love to see your unicorn head. I can’t even imagine. I think I have about 19 or 20 unicorns.

My poor collection has been dwindling slowly since October when I had to quit my job for school. Once I get my license in the mail and I can start working-watch out!! J) mwhahahahah! I did splurge with my last pay check and got one of the last few Blue Morpho lap dragons. I haven’t been able to move her from my bedside since September. She’s so beautiful, I love looking at her before bed every night. I’ve got the Blue Morpho rising spectral on my night stand too. It’s a gorgeous color. Bravo Brandi, Bra-vo!

Thanks! *ahem* it’s a new year and a new total – 533.

Apparently I have a condition called “Windstone collectivitis” and I am under the influence of it’s various sub-conditions – pebble, poad, dragon, unicorn, and kirin collectivitis all manifesting most strongly.

Many of you may have the same condition, to varying degrees of severity. The symptoms include – smiling (a lot), feelings of happiness, and general well-being. Side effects include less shelf space in the home for other items and the development of an unnatural familiarity with the postal delivery people in your neighbourhood. The condition is benign and can continue for decades unchecked. 😉
