That’s so awesome! Also, china cabinet is beautiful.
How cute Much luck with your shop.
Thank you! 😊
Thank you pipsxlch and merrillannwhite.
I like the ghosts! They are cute. I don’t suppose any of them glow in the dark?
They don’t glow in the dark, but that’s an awesome idea! I’m going to have to figure out how to make glow in the dark ghosts now. I’m not sure, but I think Sculpey might make some glow in the dark colors of clay. If not, I think you can get glow in the dark paint powders that could probably be mixed in. Or just add some touches of glow in the dark paint.
Ineed! I did a little searching and both Sculpey and Fimo make glow in the dark clays. 😃 I just ordered some. Considering glow in the dark pigments too!
Thank you pipsxlch and merrillannwhite. 😊

Made these little kawaii ghost charms for my Etsy shop. Love they way they turned out. 👻
QoR and Holbein watercolors are my favorite by far, especially QoR. Though those two can get pricey, depending on whether you buy a set, individual, etc. But they definitely last you! Winsor and Newton are also good; they were the ones I moved to when once I graduated the cheaper ones (the student grade versions).
Thank you! I’ll look into Winsor and Newton to start with. I’m not experienced in watercolors at all so it’ll be interesting to see how they differ. Oh, I made a mistake in the previous post about which brand I was using. They were master’s touch watercolors not prismacolor. 😬
Am I late to notice this mark on the bottom part of the tail on these GB risers? Is it a peace sign?
This is the one I received. It’s beautiful, but not my style. PM me if it’s one of your favs. It’s looking for a new home, but please note I can’t do trades at this time.
I broke down and got one too. They’re just too pretty to pass on! Who needs money anyway? Haha!
True! The cutesy stuff makes good smalls for my shop. I need to get them stocked soon. The pumpkins look like they’re watching a fight. Haha!
They’re all so beautiful! I love the ones with forest green-type, autumn leaf, and burgundy coloration.
Very cute! I like the M&M cookie (and now I’m hungry too).
Thank you and I know right? I need to stay away from making food items. Cookies sounded mighty good after making these.
I wasn’t crazy about the idea, but I caved in and joined Instagram. My username is the same as my store name obviously, DragonsWingDesigns, if anyone is interested.
Thought I’d make a few more cutesy things for kicks. They’re not done. I haven’t decided if I want to finish them. Cutest isn’t really my prefered style, but I wanted to try.
Thank you so much everyone. I’m truly honored. I’ve never been complimented so much on my art until I started sculpting with polymer clays last year. It’s a confidence booster. I’ve been drawing since 14 years old and always thought it was my medium. It seems I was working with the wrong medium and wish I would’ve known about polymer clay years ago.
For years I kept trying to improve my drawing skills in vain. At some point, I couldn’t seem to reach a higher skill level. Nobody was ever slightly impressed by my drawing or painting skills…except for my parents! Haha! Now, I’ve tried ceramic clays and, let me say, that was a hilarious failure. Polymer clay is just…better. I’m not a fast sculptor so it’s wonderful the clay doesn’t dry until it’s baked. Plus, all the other mediums you can add to it is just awesome. Not that it was a waste, but I wish I wouldn’t have gotten a digital graphic design degree and majored in something more in demand so at least I’d have a fallback. Uhg! A year out from graduating, I realized it wasn’t for me. With sculpting, however, I enjoy it and it seems like I’m improving quickly. It’s frustrating sometimes, but not as much as the computer programs in my opinion. I enjoy the challenge.
I keep in touch with my former professors and even they were asking, “Where is this coming from? Why weren’t you doing this before? If I would have known you were better at sculpture, I would’ve pushed you into it.” It’s a dream and a goal to be an professional artist and be my own boss, however, the long journey is just starting. Maybe in 1,000 years I can be one fourth as skilled as Melody! Haha!
Anyway, I’m trying some different things for fun. Tiny food charms seem to be popular right now. Great. I’m craving cake now. This kind of stuff reminds me of the age I had an easy bake oven. 😂 Also, I’ve ordered a light box and hopefully that’ll help with the picture quality.
Thank you for the ideas and tips Rylorien. Definitely going to put those on my list of things to try. I’ve been looking into watercolor acrylic paints as well.
Thank you!
I see I’m a good example of why it’s important to proofread. Comic kitty? I meant cosmic kitty, haha!
Anyway, I finished and stocked batch of tiny animals.
These look better in person. My camera is just awful!
Yes, you do see Catdog in there. Lol!
Another squid. I’ve never used pearl ex pigment powders before. I must say, I LOVE those pigment powders.
Thanks for the tips and links. You guys are awesome!
