I won an old green empror on ebay a couple of years ago for $400 and couldn’t believe it. I was going to be on a cruise when the auction ended so I put in a bid and crossed my finger and when I got back home the first thing I looked at was that auction and still could hardly believe I got him. I had sent the seller a message telling her if I was the lucky winner I would not be able to pay her for a until I got back and I would send her a fitted box from another emperor to put him in. She said OK but that by the time she received the box she would be on vacation but woudl mail him as soon as she got back – all in all it took about 30 days for me to get the old green but he arrived in one piece. I always thought I got him at that price ws because the picture on ebay show such a bad color people weren’t sure he was an old green.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. I am glad you had all those wonderful years and memories with him.
From the pictures I would say you had a gorgeous wedding and you look stunning in the beautiful wedding gown. Thanks for sharing
I have hear when it rains it pours and that is what has been happening to me in the last couple of weeks
1. My best friend passed away from lung cancer she has been it fighting for a little over a year.
2. My email has been screwed up for the last 3 weeks. I have been changed from bellsouth.net to att.net and back then I signed up for gmail to try to get email. AT&T’s techs (all 4 at different times) keep telling me it is because of Yahoo being hacked for over 400,000 passwords and one of them was probably mine. For over a week I could send but not receive – today bellsouth.net seems to be working – for good I hope.
3. The jacuzi stopped working – pool company came out – it was the timer that turns on the waterfalls so he replaced it and it is working again.
4. I have a side by side refrigerator and the refrigerator door kept coming open – called Whirlpool and they sent a repairman 4 days later. In the meantime I had a chair keeping the door closed.
5. Kitchen faucet went bad. I called Moen and they replaced it for free since it was less than 2 years old. It arrived yesterday and my neighbor will install it this weekend. Meanwhile I am using a large pitcher to get water from the bathtub to use in the kitchen.
I hope that is it for a long while
I might add I had never heard of Kangoo Jumps until a couple of days ago when there was an article about them in the local paper. I signed up and now wonder if I should have had my head examined but I plan to go back next Saturday.
I only landed on my rear end once but that is because they also teach pole dancing and I was holding onto one of the poles while bouncing and kicking
I have about 167 Windstones and they have taken over 8 large shelves in the living room, 2 long shelves over my desk in the den and the top of the dresser in the spare bedroom. Dragons are my favorite and I have thought about selling some of the other pieces but have been able to bring myself to do it. I did sell my extra brown kinglet and rainbow kinglet but it kinds hurt to let them go.
