Amy, rather off topic, but have you looked up some of the chicken models made by model manufacturers such as Safari Ltd and Schleich? Some are quite nice. And the Japanese ‘gashapon’ figures are beautiful, I know there are chickens in some of their lines.
Chicks from one of them won’t be as nice as Windstones, but may give you something until/unless Melody makes chicks.
Edit to add there’s a wiki- toyanimalinfo- where you can look up figures by species.
I actually collect the Kaiyodo gashapon cephalopod figures. I have prehistoric ones, and also present day. And I have a whale shark and humpback whale.
Melody, can you confirm or deny any plans to make little PYO chicks to go along with the hen and rooster? I don’t want to have my hopes up forever if they’re not going to happen. Even if they’re years down the road, as long as there are desires to make it happen I will count that. 😉
Can’t confirm or deny. They would be too small for us to cast in gypsum… but pewter?… hmmm…
Could you just make them the same size as the mini bean poads? That would be fine.
Speaking of which, do you have any plans do do more GB (or otherwise) mini bean poads in the future? They are so cute, it’s devastating to think they’ll never be made again.

I am getting an albino.I didn’t see a stone on it’s ringtail.Will they be getting one like the picked ones?
I don’t know anymore than you do, but I would imagine so.
Melody said that they still need to install the globes in the dragons, so I would assume that means the non-OOAK ones too. I think every sculpt that has a feature gets it, regardless of what the particular color is. (Ex. All coiled momma dragons have an egg; LP, OOAK or otherwise).
The videos (on the KS page where it’s just the sculpture being rotated around to show all the angles) of the albinos show them with a stone…
To help out your list a bit, it’s been confirmed that all 10 of the ones I listed previously were claimed by someone else. I’m a little defeated right now, so going to stop watching these threads fo a while. Good luck with your list.

Oh no, Amy I am assuming the second message must have been a mistake as Melody said before she messaged some people twice or that some messages accidentally went to the wrong people. Did you message her again there to clarify? I hope you get your dragon!
Yeah, I did, but I haven’t heard back yet. I assume my message went to the bottom of the list again. (I didn’t know that’s how it worked at the time. I should have just not said anything. Whoops.)
I’m still waiting to hear about any of mine, but by the same token I know there are a bunch to go through.

Sorry to confuse an already chaotic situation, but I just wanted to check in with you because not long after you started going through messages yesterday you messaged me and told me I got my pick (#95). I messaged back to thank you and ask about if July was really when they were shipping out, and I think that put my message back down at the bottom, because I got a message from you today saying that #95 had already been claimed…
I think you saw my followup message and thought I was two separate people, and told me that #95 had already been claimed by someone (who was also me). So, I am me, and I do get my dragon, right? *nervous lol*

Sorry for the Kickstarter glitches with the messaging! I guess it wasn’t made for that much traffic… It has been freezing up for me too, which has made answering them even slower! If you haven’t heard from me yet, I am still working my way through them. There’s hundreds. If you were not able to get the dragons you wanted I will be painting more until every backer gets theirs! It may take a few weeks.
Thanks for your perseverance Melody. We love your art so much. Sorry for all the paperwork that has to go into distributing it. 😛
I just hope they ship out sooner than July. I mean, Melody said the only thing left to do is glue in their globes and check for paint flaws. That can’t take that long, right? I want my dragon >.<
My #1 was 123. It hasn’t been mentioned on anyone’s list so far that has put it out there.
Did they change the way to put up pictures? I thought at one point we could just download them. Could be remembering somewhere else.Save the picture you want to post somewhere easy to find (like your Desktop), then click the “Select File” button towards the bottom of the page when you go to post on a board. Pick the picture you saved and click “Open” in the lower right hand corner of the window where you pick what file you want to choose. You should see your picture with a green area next to it with a few options. You can click on “Insert into content” if you want to actually post the picture in your reply, rather than just have it as a little thumbnail that people have to click to enlarge.
Example: Here is my dragon whom I have named Plumquat.
