I think the Classifieds work as they are. You do need to establish a habit of checking them. Having the newest items in a list at the bottom makes it easy to see what has been added.
When I come to the Windstone site I check the Classifieds first, just in case anything exciting has been listed, then glance at Melody’s Blog, and then move to the Forum itself.
Sounds like a good method… maybe I gotta start doing this, lol !
SPark, I adore your work also, and like I told prezaurian in their thread, I just dont think the classifieds section here is easy to browse through. I only go there if Im really looking for something in particular, but Im not sure about how other people use it, so I cant speak for everyone. I just find it too time consuming to easily browse around seeing whats for sale and what-not. And most times I dont even think to go in that section to look, lol ! I kinda wish the classifieds section was a part of the forum, as then I would be more likely to randomly look at things there, and then maybe I would just have to have that certain piece that catches my eye, lol !

Actually I love your work, and sorry I didnt post a reply sooner… I tend not to post as often on here anymore. I would love to own one of your pieces someday, if I ever get the extra money.
One thing is I find though, is I dont really care so much for the classified section here. I just find it hard to navigate at times, and cumbersome. I kinda wished the classifieds section was just another part of the forum itself, like the Non-Windstone Sale items area. I really never think of browsing the classifieds section here, unless Im really looking for something in particular. But if it was a main part of the forum, then I would notice the posts, and maybe one would just catch my eye and I would just have to have it, lol !
So yeah, thats my 2 cents on why things dont sell so well in the classifieds section… for me anyways. I really dont go there to just browse, its too time consuming to navigate it all.
@ AmyJane Your presentation sets off your collection in such a lovely way. All the greenery looks wonderful, but I love the ferns behind the dinosaurs – what a great idea.

Heres my lovely Fancy GB Tanuki. I do love his colors, the greens and golds, almost reminds me of fall colors 😉 Im most likely keeping him, unless someone had a amazing piece that I couldnt say no to, lol !

Mine was scanned in San Francisco on the first, then in Montreal on the 2nd, then San Francisco again on the 3rd then back in Montreal that same day, just ten hours later…..so it either bounced around or the scanning system messed up some dates of scans lol! It’s saying scheduled delivery for today, Wednesday, but I kinda doubt it, I’m thinking Thursday 🙂
So excited to see what I get , everyone’s has been so awesome so far, I love seeing all the pics!
