Im also excited to see what people have painted for this, and I will get to see what I missed out on, lol! I am hoping to be able to join in on a swap next time around.
So, was wondering if maybe you can post some WIP pics of the flap cat when you start? I always enjoy seeing pics like that, with explanations of the steps the artist took. It helps me to learn more painting techniques 😉 Since I enjoy your work, I know I could learn more from you !

I really loved painting this guy, and now want to buy more of these so I can play away with different color schemes. I also gotta do one that has actual fox colors, 😉
OK, so I had been working on a Ki-rin, but kinda got stuck and not sure what direction I want to go with him. Soooo, in the meantime, I been thinking about this color scheme for sometime now, and thought it would look good on my Kitsune ! Its my first attempt at any sort of color blending…. not that I did very well with it, but it was a lot of fun to paint !
So here he is, my Ice Kitsune !!
Tempest618 I just love your first poad, and Branzyboo you have an amazing one as well! I just adore the dark eyes ! I wish mine would move a tad faster in the mail system….. stupid Customs in Montreal takes forever processing packages….. I wish it had went through Customs in Toronto, they are so much faster!

As an update, my missing box did not show up today. I even talked to the neighbor in the basement suite to ask if she had seen my box yesterday and she said she had seen 2 boxes outside the door yesterday, not 3 so I know they did not deliver 3 boxes, just 2. So I was on the phone today with Canada Post and USPS trying to track it down. Canada Post told me to inform the sender (I e-mailed Susie) and to talk to USPS about investigating where the box went but when I talked to USPS she did not even know how to get a hold of Canada Post and said she couldn’t file a claim because it was First Class International shipping. Well I didn’t want a claim filed. I just wanted to track down where my box went. So I talked to Canada Post again and got a guy who figured out how to e-mail the depot where all the deliveries leave from on delivery trucks and he took down my information and said they would e-mail me about the status of my box and what happened. I even checked with the post office nearby but they didn’t have it so whoever was supposed to deliver my box and scanned it as delivered either still has it or it’s on a truck still or back at the depot. I don’t think they are open on the weekend so I really hope they update me by Mon. if they track it down and can re-deliver it or leave it at a post office for me to pick up. I am still so worried! With that said I did manage to get pics on my cell phone of the other poads we got in which are two hoppy ones but I really want my hippie and hoppy in the missing box!
CanadaPost told you to talk to USPS? Man oh man… there are some dim-witted people there. The package was scanned last in Canadaposts hands, AND they scanned it as delivered… what would USPS have to do with that!? Im glad you called them back and got someone who sounded like they maybe know what they are doing…. they should be able to easily reach your main depot and reach that particular delivery driver for that route, to get them to search for the package and to find out what happened.
It makes me sooooo mad that the Customer service at canadapost sucks sooo bad…. most times they have no clue what your talking about…. talking to people from the depot yourself would work so much better, but alas, that is nearly impossible unless you know someone who works there ….. ( Im a postie…. so I know first hand how some of the people working there should have never been hired in the first place… it just makes me so angry when I see postal workers who dont care about the mail at all…. and I have to go behind them and re-do what they just did cause they were too lazy to do it right, or to even “read” for that matter….. aargghh ! *pulls hair out*…. sorry for the rant, the volumes of mail are picking up a lot with Christmas looming, and therefor the number of dumb-a$%e@ I have to work with has increased… :/ Its a hard time of year to stay in the holiday spirit, but Im trying !)
Anywho… sorry for the tangent ! I really hope your package shows up Kim !! I know exactly how you feel, and I would be worried sick also 🙁 The two poads you did get are nice though ! But still… I know you want you other two babies as well.
We got a couple hoppy poads in today and will post pictures soon! They are both really similar to ones I wanted so I am happy although we may still consider trading either. The only trouble is that these were not actually my poads that I ordered but extra ones my mom and I ordered after they took the limit off. The box I ordered said it was delivered as well today but did not show up. We had 3 boxes total that said they were all delivered today but only 2 were actually delivered so my box with a hippie and hoppy poad is MIA and I am worried sick. I called Canada Post and the tracking said it was delivered so I asked them if maybe the delivery driver took the 2 boxes to the door and forgot the third. They said if he did forget or it got left in the truck they they should re-deliver it but there is nothing yet. Has this ever happened to someone where an item said delivered but the post people messed up and it actually wasn’t delivered for another day or two? I am certain that there was no one around the house who would have taken the one box and left the other two so I really hope my box turns up by tomorrow!
Oooo no Kim! Id be worried sick also! Customer service should have sent note to that delivery driver, and hopefully they will look for it and recover it for you! Is there a place where parcels go when they get carded out? Such as a small postal outlet in a nearby drugstore? You can always call them to and see if by chance it was taken there and left? Maybe they input it as delivered by mistake, but rather thought they had carded it out? Maybe it had customs owing on it? (I dont know how you get away without paying customs so often, lol!, seems as I ALWAYS get charged… :/)

How sad 🙁 I wonder if Cesar Millan knows about this case? He has rescued many dogs and rehabilitated them over the years.
