Very pretty ! I really like how you did the mask, and the red fur color came out so realistic 🙂
Happy Birthday !
Happy Birthday !!!
Congrats on the awesome Win ! I can totally understand your surprise, I had done the same thing on the male, and likely would have had a heart attack if I had won, lol !
He’s so cute Mindy…Love it 🙂
Thanks Mom 🙂 You will get to see him in person next time you get down, whenever the weather calms down enough, lol !
Linda S, you have a wonderful collection 🙂 Congrats on those Dragon Fruit pieces…I am a fan!!
Here is my latest splurge…Autumn Leaf Pumpkin Test Paint #1 beautifully painted by Melody – A big thank you to her previous owner for making this possible. One of the many things that I love about this piece, is at the tip of her fury parts, it goes from green to teal at the ends. The transition in color is a really nice touch. Her belly is a deep deep cranberry, almost like you’d see on the darker Ruby color scheme.
WARNING: Sunglasses must be worn for this next picture
WOW! Those are just beautiful !!! Lucky you ! 😉
Meet my GB Wolf. He is definitely one that I would have overlooked, if I was only going by the class photos. A hidden gem, IMO. He’s dark and mysterious with gold eyes, and from the back, he’s all black. His smirk says: “Oh Hi…we’re lost, can I use your phone? Is that a cat? Can I pet him?”. Oddball says: “no, no, no don’t trust him…He can’t even dial numbers on the phone, and he tried to “pet” me this morning”
Not to be trusted 🙂
He is a beauty ! Im guessing his good looks allow him to ‘get away with’ a lot more trouble than the others 😉
Oh, here are a few sun shots of my Coal 😉 Couldnt help but share ! The effects of the sun and the glare make him appear to have highlights and diff colors, but trust me, he is ALL black. 🙂
Dust does seem to be attracted to him, like static cling, LOL! I did brush him off and blew the specs off him a few times, yet some still managed to make their way into the photos 😉
Oh, and last night he howled so mournfully for his missing companion, Dust the Ivory Wolf, that I caved in and sent for her. Im hoping Windstone can get her on the first flight out so he doesnt have to miss his love any longer 😉
Nice doggy photos and thanks for posting even if it brings back memories. I used to look at pictures of my old pets and my ex and it was hard so I haven’t in a while but it’s sometimes nice remembering the old pets. My last dog was a border collie that passed away from cancer a few years ago. He was so active and loved agility and sheep herding and playing and chasing his toys and he was so smart! I haven’t had a dog since because of moving to rentals where dogs aren’t allowed so it’s nice to see pictures of everyone else’s dogs! If I could get a wolf painted like a black and white border collie, that would be awesome but not sure if any were painted to look like that.
Thanks Kim 🙂 And I, like you, would LOVE it if I could get some sculpts painted like some of my Doggies from the past. In the end Im going to try and do some PYO winged wolves to try and pay tribute to my pups 🙂 Im sure if will be hard though, but well worth it 😉
Great pics !! Anyone else have brindle dog (or whatever) pics to post? I could use references.
Brindle doggie overload! 😉 I can also take more if you need some.
Such sweet doggies, Amstaff! Thank You for posting pictures!
Thank you for showing us your Pup as well ! He reminds me of mine, looks like he has that clown attitude that all Pitties are known for 😉 And he is absolutely beautiful !! I love Brindle with white to offset it 🙂
Could also be gallbladder. I hope the doctors find the cause and get you feeling better as soon as possible.
We have donairs here too and I like the sweet sauce although I have never tried a donair pizza but it sounds good! I got a couple of those toothless dragons from Build A Bear a few months ago when they had just come out and were super popular. I ended up selling them on ebay because I needed the money but then they brought them back again in the fall I think. So that’s cool they still have them now as they sold out fast when they first came out.
When my guy gave him to me, he had said the store told him they had stopped selling them at one point, but had just got them back instock to start selling them again 😉 Guess I was lucky !
Thanks guys 😛 The Ivory wolf is sounding more and more like my next purchase ! And Coal is nodding his head in agreement, lol ! I think he said he wanted the one called “Dust”… he met her back at the store and is missing her badly 😉 Coal n Dust want to be reunited, LOL! I will have to see how next payday looks *nods at Coal* .
Man, Im so loving this sculpt ! And I avoided customs fees my last 2 orders by only getting ONE item per order, which is sooo hard to do, but it helped in my overall costs in the end ! Maybe thats cause enough to spend some more? LOL !!
Donair is a term for a type of meat, pronounced ‘dough-nair’. It used to be made years back with lamb (ewww !) but now is made with beef, and a mix of spices, cooked slowly on a vertical spit. The meat is shaved off this ‘meatlog’ and is then either served on a pizza, or in a pita wrap, typically with onions and tomatoes. Then there is the donair sauce, made up of condensed can milk, vinegar and garlic powder. Is is a nice yummy sweet sauce, and goes very well with this spicy meat. The doniar can also be served with mozzarella cheese on top (pita version), and its a must on top of the pizza. The pizza does not contain your typical pizza sauce, either, but it is served with the donair sauce I mentioned, on the side.
There are also Donair burgers (I never had one), donair egg rolls (Yummy!), and Donair sausage even.
It is typically found in the Eastern areas of Canada, with it being very common in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Some people say this is the birth place of the Donair 😉 This is also the fact why a lot of people have not heard or gotten to try this awesomeness 🙂 And Im sure to some people it sounds gross… lol! Cant blame them really, you gotta try it to really know how good it is ! And no, I dont find it overly spicy (it can be depending on where it is made, but I dont like it too spicy) and the sauce does not taste garlicy at all. I didnt even know there was garlic or vinegar in this awesome sweet sauce until I had read up on the recipe one day, lol !
Here is a recipe I found online: http://mmmisformommy.com/2011/12/donairs-halifax-classic.html
Some people say its a must have when one is drinking…. but I dont really drink myself, and I still love them! Anyways, so thats the Donair 🙂
Glad you liked toothless ! I have never been into Build-A-Bear myself actually. I have only ever walked past the store, lol! I didnt even know a person could get such cool items in there! And there is even a heart INSIDE of Toothless, that my guy picked out in the store, and they put it inside of him when they made him! How cool is that !! 😀 Have fun getting yours made ! 🙂
Sounds like everyone had a great Valentines Day !
I also had a GREAT day ! One of my best valentines ever, I have to say ! My guy treated me to pizza… a Donair pizza and another pizza with Pep., Green pepper, Mushrooms and bacon… mmmmmm ! To those who have never had donair, you dont know what your missing, it is to die for !!!
And to top it off, he got me this amazing surprise !! A toothless dragon, and he got it made at Build-A-Bear !!
