Pretty sure this Mother Dragon is fake. I feel badly, as it already has a $60 bid.

I see they have relisted it, but no longer call it a Windstone……. still dont seem right to me.
My life hates me 😥 I was almost done with mine and it got moved cause of the earthquakes and some construction work we are doing. Walked in the the small table it was on last night and it fell off and hit a piece of plywood breaking in in three places and reducing a toe to dust. I now have to order a new piece and start over. *whimper*
Ouch, that totally sucks ! I would have been so upset 🙁 But you might as well accept that it wasnt meant to be, and have fun painting the next one 🙂 Good luck 🙂
Completely contradicting an earlier comment I made about not understanding why people bid so much so early (and thereby drive the price up) – I am almost wishing people would do just that quickly and put me out of my misery regarding that jaguar oriental.
I agree 😉 And you know sometimes I think thats WHY people bid high early, like they are saying “ok peeps, this here Windstone is MINE, so just back-off now, your NOT gonna win this, so dont even bother trying” …. LOL !

If you dont mind me asking, do you use spray-on or paint-on varnish? I have spray-on, but recently bought the paint on kind by liquitex. Im kinda nervous to use it as Im worried it may form tiny bubbles or streak as I try to paint it on.
Thanks! I set that one aside for a bit to paint the base colors on the other one. It just needs interference paint, antiquing, and some bright silver finish now. (And the other one still just needs all the glowy bits.) They’ll probably be done pretty soon.
Do you paint interference paint over your last coat of paint, or do you mix it in with other colors then paint it on ?

I have done online surveys before, years back, but none ever paid out for me, lol ! But that was years back, and doing surveys that actually pay sounds like fun 🙂
Not to hijack this thread, but another neat way to make some extra bucks online is via ebates ! Since I shop online now and then, if I just go through ebates (which lists some of the online stores I shop at ie-Walmart, Amazon, ebay) to click on the stores link, I then earn a certain % back of my purchase! Sometimes its only 1 or 2%, and sometimes its a lot more! For those that travel, you can book hotel rooms and trips etc for certain hotels, and since that sometimes quite a lot of cash, it can add up in savings pretty quick 🙂
I used to get a cheque mailed out to me for my cash earned, now I get it put directly into paypal ! And that of course is used towards Windstone Purchases ! 🙂

I was worried about this PYO project, but now Im quite excited, as the one Im working on seems to be coming along even better than I had thought 🙂 Im enjoying this alot, I just hope my receiver likes it 😉
😀 I’m worried about it too to be honest! -laughs- My friends like it (none of them are forum members, I promise!) but I keep wondering if my receiver will like it too! I’ll cross my fingers for you if you cross yours for me!
LOL! I have shown mine to friends and family also, (not forum members either), and they all like it and are rather surprised I could paint that, LMAO ! But tastes vary I know *crosses fingers for prezaurian* 😀
