@Kim I love the original brown and white ki-rins as well, but I think I remember reading an explanation that keeping the white area clean while painting the brown details is extremely difficult. I got the impression it was unlikely that paint combo would see the light of day again on those sculpts. But I would love to be wrong.
^^^^ Yep, mine says the same thing. I’m assuming it is just a matter of volume and they can only get so many ready to go out a day.

While strolling through the gallery I found the pics of the Fletcher and Dexter “Jackatigalope” Candlelamps – SO cute. Any chance of a repeat of something similar for ebay?
I wanted to make better deer antlers for them first! We still have issues with the horn production.
I am just happy to hear they are still being considered. Thank you for the info.
I am amazed that after 4 1/2 hours, there still appear to be some hopping out of carts.
@Stormbreeze – I am one of the ones hoping for a brown/bronze/natural. But I really am not too worried about what I get because with all the very different tastes, I don’t think anyone will need to settle for one they really don’t care for. And as much as I like the naturals, looking at the store pic I would be very happy with ANY one of those, with one exception (which shall remain anonymous so as not to hurt its little feelings ;)) I am really surprised at how much I like the black/multi colored one in the very front. If someone described it to me, I think I would go “ewh”, but to actually see it……striking.

Thanks for the update, Susie. I suspect we will all heave a sigh of relief that the batch is so much bigger than we initially thought it would be.
Melody, to echo Hannah, they are absolutely more than fine. I LOVE the natural ones, they look gorgeous.
So how pathetic is it that I know that just over 40 (42 by my count) of these little darlings have been accounted for?
Some have far to travel, so people are still waiting for theirs to arrive. It’s early yet….and others choose not to post theirs.

Oh, I wasn’t complaining about how many still hadn’t shown up on the thread, but I see how it could have looked that way. From looking at the other GB threads, I was impressed by how many international collectors there are. I was actually just making fun of myself that I actually knew how many had shown up on the thread. Borderline obsessive? 😉
