Thanks for the couple responses I got, wish I could help y’all out. I went ahead and tossed these on Ebay along with a few others with starting bids of .99, let’s see where they go.
I’m taking in a bird in a week that’s been living outside in an aviary her entire life (6 years), has never had a name, and has never seen a toy. She’s a Guatemalan mealy amazon, if anyone knows what one of those is. I have a cage, but vet bills on a healthy bird routinely run $300 plus per year and I want extra testing done on her since she barbers her feathers and has been outside. I just hope it doesn’t get TOO expensive.
The couple folks on the bird forum I frequent will be able to see pics and updates as soon as I get her in. I also recently rehomed an ekkie that has some medical issues and am scraping my wallet for him as well. -sigh-

If anyone’s willing to come pick these up in person, I’ll let all 3 go for $600 cash, and will throw in either a silver lap or rainbow scratcher FREE. Both factory mint, in their boxes. I just want this stuff gone as the friend I offered them to didn’t want them and I need the cash for a bird recue’s vet bills.

I just had $900 in fraudulent charges come out of my checking account a couple days ago via someone who managed to get into my paypal account and am currently fighting to get it back. Does that count? 👿

I have a Canon SLR, and a digital. My camcorder is also a Canon. Can you guess which I’ll recommend? 😆
I use the Canon PowerShot SD900 Elph to take pictures of the Windstones.

That’s EXACTLY what happened, Jennifer. I got at least a dozen messages asking if I had any offers on them yet, and several more making offers. Also included a couple that rudely told me they weren’t offering more than they were being sold for in the store (which defeats the purpose of someone taking offers on something rather than PMing one of the people who missed out and asking if they wanted them for cost.) Trying to sell things here on the forum is frustrating because the PMs can be tough to sift through. Rather than post an official thread here to sell them, I just put them on ebay. Much easier for me. No offense to anyone, but I can’t always reply to every single one of the deluge of messages.
And yes, they are in my hands at this moment. Arrived this morning.

That’s fine. 😉 I went ahead and put them on ebay. I’m sure someone will want them. I had double digit watchers within 5 minutes of putting them up.

The doctors that I work with pick a charity every month and we donate money though monthly office fund raisers and I also donate to charity. I would rather give to charity than to the government. I like to give to charities related to animals and kids.

Yes, they are a nonprofit 501-c-3 organization. Anyone who wants to give is a wonderful person! (Not that those who don’t aren’t, but those who do are just extra wonderful. 😉 ) They do have a sponsor a bird program as well, and anyone who would like a couple pamphlets mailed to them (via me) can PM me with a mailing address and I’ll be happy to get those out to you. I can send pics and videos of sponsor birds weekly when I visit the rehab barn. And of course my offer for a personal tour if anyone is traveling through our beautiful state remains open!
