Wow, awesome job on this one! It was worth the wait! 😀 Do you have anything new in the works?

I have a keeper I never finished (don’t know what to do with him, honestly), and another phoenix that I also don’t know what to do with. I’m kinda itching to paint though so I’m looking up inspiration online…. XD

    Any suggestions????

Actually I may have one for my keeper….

    CONGRRATS first of all!

Second… a place I found REALLY helpful – http://offbeatbride.com/ . Lots of ideas for peacock weddings, and the people on the forums are really helpful too, and it has lots of low budget suggestions as well (I used them a lot and spent probably $6000 total, including $2000 for my photographer!).

Monday . Not my faverite day . Ugh .

Totally seconded. Getting up for my 5am shift this morning was particularly BRUTAL.

But I actually hated Friday more… it was a Murhpy’s Law Day.

I’m so sorry to hear this…. my grandfather passed from lung cancer that metastised to his spine back in… 2007, I think. Not something I like to think about. Enjoy the time you have left…. and (hugs).

To bump the much too ignored “Heck Yeah!” thread… skip this if you don’t want a nerd moment!!!

Just got my new powerhouse of a machine set up yesterday! It’s not top of the line of everything you can get on a computer (because it’s not worthwhile shelling out $1000 minimum on the top of the line graphics card when in a year that same card is worth $200… ok it’s not quite that bad, but close enough to not be worth it)… but it also plays brand new games (re Skyrim) on the highest settings (higher then consoles such as PS3!) without a glitch. It’s beautiful. <3 haha. *hugs machine*

    Specs! :3

    AMD PHENOM II X4 955 AM3/3.2G/8MB/125W CPU
    ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 Motherboard
8GB RAM (Kingston 1600 Gaming Kit)
    500GB HDD
    EVGA GTX560 1GB DDR5 D+D+MINI

Gratz, Pixie-Dust! I’d keep her locked up somewhere – seems you got a lot of real jealous people around here (me included). 😉

Don;t know if this is a WTF or a holy *bleep*

So its official, the Windstorm we had yesterday had sustained winds speeds equal to that of a category 1 hurricane! In landlocked Western Canada! :jawdrop:
That’s insane! I’ve lived here most of my life and NEVER seen wind like that! Neither have my parents who’ve been here longer. Sure we get small windstorms and a couple of trees go over and know out power and stuff but never like this. They closed off the downtown core yesterday (which made trying to get to work last night very interesting) because the wind was shattering the glass in the office buildings and evacuated everyone above the 30 floor in all buildings (including the expensive condos) There are trees down everywhere and some of the big spruce trees have been ripped up by their roots!
And to cap everything off once the wind died last night we got two inches of snow

Oh so THAT’S why one of our trailers of meat trim didn’t show up until 2:30 (We get it from that huge plant in Brooks).

Your ring is gorgeous! I do prefer colored diamonds to plain boring white ones (no offense to those who like them, I just find them boring). And the band itself is beautiful.
