Those are great photos! I love seeing the travelling dinosaur exhibits, it’s neat to see all the dinosuars you’ve only read about in books 😀
If you like dinosaur vactions then you need to come visit up here. The Royal Tyrell Museum of Paleontology is about an hour west
(ish) of me and it’s awesome! 😀
http://www.tyrrellmuseum.com/I LOVE the Royal Tyrell – I really need to go back sometime, it’s been years since I was out there….
And cool pics!
I used to work for StudentWorks painting and they were too cheap for painters tape, so I kinda had to learn how to not use it. You hold a normal brush at an angle, facing out, will make a perfect line, every time. But it will have a different texture then the roller line, so if I can, I use tape to avoid the differing texture.
I’m sorry to hear your life’s been rough lately.
To be honest though, I come here for the people not the Windstones, I haven’t bought a single piece on well over a year and don’t want to. I don’t want to sell them either so there’s that (but many of them were gifts and are special to me).
Heck I hardly venture out of the community forum.
I can feel the budget crunch thing too. We’re downgrading from a 3bdr house to a 1bdr apartment because we need that extra $400 a month (we only had the upstairs of the house, but my sister in law had the basement, but she’s moving too so…). Some things will have to go or get downsized, but this is a good thing, in a way. We will have to let go of all the things we don’t need (an extra bed, 2 desks, both our microwaves, a bunch of stuff in boxes that haven’t seen the light of day in years, etc).
So if you’re feeling social at all, there’s those of us on here that aren’t obsessed with Windstones any more. 🙂
I was just wondering how she was doing the other week. While I didn’t know her personally, she always seemed like a kind, strong, generous person, and I am truly sad that she passed on. Her presence will be missed around here, I’m sure.
My condolences go out to her family in their time of grief.

OMG CONGRATS on being done! SOO happy for you – I remember that feeling and it’s AWESOME, isn’t it?
Here’s my hellion, Kitty:
Don’t let the fuzziness fool you. 🙂
I believe she’s a hellion! I’m gonna have nightmares about the expression on her face! 😛
However, I was kinda hit all at once with the news this was something much different than I was expecting, and the adjustment yesterday hurt like heck, and I sure didnt feel better after leaving the office.
Doing a bit better this morning however…it’s a new day after all. 😛
This is gonna sound mildly cruel – but with a chiropractor, it’s actually better if the adjustment hurts, if they didn’t do enough to hurt, then the adjustment wouldn’t do anything long run.
From my sister-in-law who’s been going to a chiropractor for years….
I hope your spine starts to feel better soon, back pain is brutal, and it’s always crappy to find out that it’s not a quick fix (but really, what is?).
Starting to feel like summer! It’s a nice and balmy 25C here right now, and man am I enjoying it!
(Just watch, in a month I’ll be posting a similar post in the “Whine Thread” – 😛 )
EDIT: I don’t remember posting this…. haha… drugs are awesome. I’m just gonna delete it now (while it is a legit whine, I’m sure none of you want to hear about my gross hand).
April 3, 2012 at 11:14 pm in reply to: Margaret aka drgnlvr needs your prayers UPDATED 8/22/12 #877726Oh no. I was wondering what had happened to her recently, I haven’t seen any posts in the Community forum (I hardly check the other ones).
If you do decide to send flowers (or something), I can probably chip in a few bucks, just PM me when you do decide to do something.
Congrats Dragon87! I’ll be hopefully doing the same thing this summer with a Hyundai Veloster. It will be my first brand new car, too!
Sweet! I would have considered the Veloster, but my hubby has a sedan, so it makes more sense to have an SUV as well (for the extra cargo room when we need it).
My license plate ends in ‘666’ – BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! (also a Heck Yeah)
I hope your surgery went well!
Welp – I’m the proud owner of a brand new sparkly 2012 Hyundai Tucson… 😀 Got $3000 for my 2002 Civic (where everything says it should be worth $1200 AT MOST) as a trade-in, got the protection package AND two-way car starter thrown in for free, and got the second up trim level, for less then the price of the lowest trim level. Total I negotiated off the car – around $6000.
HECK YEAH. I was initially just messing with them, but found an insurance company that would save me and my husband about $30/month total… so if I budget a bit, I can totally afford this!
……. *is excited* This is my first brand new car!
