I looked it up, I saw that they did require a first aider…. maybe I read wrong?

Ya it was the Claireview 10…. hope you weren’t there last night around 9:30… 😆

As long as I don’t get it in the next few days, I’m good, since I got stitches in my good hand, maybe try to make me later on the list?

Just asking, if you want to know the story it’s in community under worst movie ever.

I should be good whenever it gets to me, but later is always better with stitches on your dominant hand!

I still want to do it though 😀

For those people that want the medical bills covered by them, they were completely covered by my dad’s insurance with the Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (ASEBP). So… pointless endeavor.

I might report them for having no proper first aid kit, as well as the exposed bolts but going through the legal system for it could get costly and I can’t afford a lawyer (even if I win, and they are bound to have better lawyers then I do, since they are a component of Empire theaters.).

I’m having their insurance contact me, if they don’t give me what I’m asking for (compensation for the fact that I am a painter and I’m paid by piece, so since I can’t paint as fast, I lose money), then I may very well get me a lawyer and sue for their gross incompetence.

I will get reimbursed but probably not enough to make Windstone go out of stock, I’m afraid. Unless they make me. 😈

My dad and fiancee wanted to see Harold and Kumar, so we went.

$70 (for 5 people) later, we finally get to the anticipated theater. But alas, tragedy struck! My purse hit the pop I had ordered and sent it spilling all over the floor. However, I had ordered the large size which comes with free refills. So I grab my cup and go to get my refill.

I never made it to the concession stand. I slipped, then tripped on the stairs, and was sent sprawling. I landed on an exposed bolt, which tore open my hand.

So me, Colin, and the roommate rush to the concession stand, where we yelled for a first aid kit. We got IGNORED! Stupid underpaid workers. After yelling more, we get told (sarcastically) that they indeed have NO first aid kit – though they have a small amount of gauze.

I almost fainted after the adrenaline wore off, but that feeling lasted a whole 5 mins.

So we go to the hospital, me and Colin wait for 5 hours, and I get to have 3 stitches in.

I am mad that the theater had no first aid kit! That’s illegal, isn’t it?? That and they had exposed sharp bolts! They should have bolted into the floor, not bolted up…

Augh. At least all my pyo’s are in the mail, so I’m not tempted to paint yet.

I might be off for a couple of days – typing with one hand is kinda annoying, and operating the mouse with an injury is also annoying. If you need to tell me something, either respond or pm me.

(Don’t worry mmloda I should still be able to do the kirin unless I get it in the next 2 days, which will probably not happen… bad that it was my dominant hand though!)

Oh we got our money back!!! 😆

I love the golden and liquitex. Got some stuff for 60% off, I’ll use them till they are empty but, yuk! I have to stir with a folded out paperclip everytime or all I get is water… No wonder they were discontinued, no one wanted them!

    Yay for unsecured networks…

My brother’s is secure but since this computer is the one that’s connected via cable, it works the best. And quickest.

We almost went into shock when we moved in – no internet for 2 days, and no unsecured networks!!! 😯

    It was horrible! 😆

in reply to: DAVID VS DAVID!!!! #703241

My dad watches American Idol, but I don’t… ever. The bad singers get on my nerves 😆 but by the time there’s only good singers left I haven’t invested enough to be bothered.

I was very confused when he said, “The Davids are in!”

My reaction 😯 “What are you talking about?????”

As in, I would recieve the Kirin in the mail, and then be confused when I saw the feet had fur.

Well, I looked at some of the PYO kirins and thought – mane, face, tail… what about the legs?

If I had got the kirin and hadn’t asked I would have forgot that thought. Then I would have been confused because it is so easy to confuse me. Just ask Colin… 😆

    Make sense?

My dad was visiting for the weekend so he saw Pixie yesterday!

His first reaction was…. “WOW”. For someone who had just gone through a day of teaching kids and a 4 hour drive right after, that must mean it’s impressive, that I got a reaction at all, not to mention it’s a good one.

Even though she’s started crackling on the wings already… I think it might be the heat, it got REALLY warm really quick round here, supposed to go to 29 Celcius today. 👿

EDIT: Started my griffin!!! Pics soon to follow! (not the commission, I want to practice antiquing before I do the one I’m getting paid for)

OK that makes the most sense anyway, thanks for clearing it up before I get it and go…. huh?

in reply to: Do You Have a Fondest Memory? #693065

It was kinda scary at the time (by kinda meaning really) but no huge losses other then an ’89 tempo (go tanks, if we were in a sunfire it would probably have been worse).

Colin growls at tempo’s now. I think he misses his tank…. 🙂 And perhaps is a little bit upset over the spilled coffee. He really likes his timmies.

It’s been a long time now, like I said a couple of years, but there’s no first date like getting into an accident huh?

in reply to: MALLORY GOES HOME TODAY!!!!!! #704050

My thoughts are with them as well! They take really good care of preemies these days, so hopefully Mallory will turn out great!
