If you would like, I have pictures of each artists cards, and also what cards each person got. Just wanted to in case someone would need them to post. I’ll be mailing all the ones that I can tomorrow. I’ll list those who will list those that won’t mail till friday tomorrow.

Mel, yours has a few other things (spare eyes, etc) packed into a bubble mailer, and won’t go out til’ friday for sure.

The cat ones are the psychedelic tie dye like ones. I made homemade edible finger paint for her and she made an absolute MESS of my bathroom. We did it in there cause I didn’t colorful tracks all over the carpet. I’ll post a pic when I have my camera back from laundry2011. She is taking the last of the pics now that my camera is charged up.

    EDIT: here is harriats >>

They probably will be painted in production or LP patterns, not as Grab Bags: “I’m gonna paint another batch of tadpoads. Bengal or Snowy…or both.”

I don’t know what pattern Snowy is (possibly colored like the new large wizards winter color?), but Bengal tadpoads sound adorable.

    snow leopard mabye?

EDIT for the 5th time, i need some code help, I’m looking at hannah’s tutorial cause I thought I forgot something I haven’t the forum is resizing my photo’s over my code they are much larger than the preview is showing, and It won’t let me make them smaller. Every time I change the number the pics stay the same.

here is a screen shot, i am super confused…

in reply to: Do you love your job? #906757

As weird as this may sound, I absolutely love my job as a cashier. I think it is really more of good, fun and supportive work space more than anything else. I love being able to help out customers, and I always make it my goal to be sure everyone leaves with a smile on their whether they come in with one or not.

I have only ever had to job’s and the other place was horrible. It was at a fast food restaurant which in it’s own wasn’t so bad, it was the people you were working with. To start it was a drama kingdom. Now every workplace will have drama, I know this, but here was ridiculous. More than half of the people working there were related in some way (like mother, son, daughter, niece and their boy/girlfriends kinda thing), So the drama was drawn to ridiculous proportions, so and so, said thins, ans so and so broke up with me and is now dating so and so, so I’m not gonna talk to him anymore, even though I’m supposed to be giving him the orders. Not to mention, they made me come in every day the week I had my wisdom teeth pulled, and get this. I used to ride my bike 9 miles one way to work there and my other job that I still have, and was hit by a car commuting from one job to the other. The assistant manager on shift sent me to the hospital an hour later. The main manager wouldn’t give me the time off to recuperate from the internal bleeding and told me that if I didn’t come in she would basically fire, cause “..I am such an important part of the work team, they need me, there is no other person to do my job…”blah, blah, blah. Not to mention she never did anything herself, and would sit in the office answering drive through while playing majong and zynga on her IPad, while I’d be working my butt off until we closed, cleaning all the machines and stuff myself, then tell me I wasn’t working hard enough cause I didn’t finish it all in the one hour after we closed. and If you’ever ask about things being unfair, she’d just smirk and laugh at you saying “aces in their places..”. I quit.

My other job that I am still at has always been great and even though I don’t get paid as much as other jobs, I would’t wanna quit unless I had too or a great opportunity was just dumped on my plate.

So she be a “Jade Light Peacock” then? That my idea.. I’ve wondered these some times like how my Old peacock fledge is halfway exactly between the old and the emerald peacock, not quite one, but now quite the other now that I had seen an emerald pea in person.

in reply to: 96037's PYO Thread ~ New Sushi Cats! Leopard and Jaguar #906645

Hey everyone, I just did this guy yesterday and the day before. Turned out amazing! My favorite ink stain so far, this guy will be pure stain, no pastel. Once I have a dry day and he is sprayed up, he may get a bit of interference, but I think I like him as is. So without further ado, meet Violet Aurora!

She does NOT photograph so well. Her colors are slightly off. The green is a very bright phosphorescent green like the northern lights. It almost seems to glow, and was an accidental discovery of a pigment reaction between two brands of ink, that slowly changed color over 15 minutes as it dried. Both kinds of ink were made in italy and bought at local shops. You cannot purchase them online so much that I know of, but I have been wrong before.

She would only photograph in front of the black, you could not see the green at all in front of the neutral gray. The purple is a tad slight bit darker.

    Thanks for looking!

in reply to: Please! Need Kitty Advice! #906642

you should check around for local deals for spaying/neutering. One of our local vets does alot of feral spays/neuters and offers coupons for a $25 spay for each feral and farm cat brought in. That’s how I got Harriat fixed. And as gross as it sounds, you should look in her dung for any small whitish shapes. She could have tapeworms. Cat’s can get all kinds of sickness from eating a flea, and even if your cat is indoor and not scratching, they can still pick one up and ingest it occasionally. I guess that is how Harriat got her’s and she is an all indoor cat.

Also be careful to watch any chemicals or strange objects that a cat might eat. It doesn’t matter what it is, if harriat doesn’t know what it is, or it smells like food and can fit in her mouth, she’ll eat it. She has eaten sequence, glitter, oatmeal, cereal, and even tried to eat my homemade dishwasher detergent cubes. So keep an eye to make she isn’t getting into things she shouldn’t. Cat’s are smart and mine even loves to explore, sleep and build nests in my cabinets.

The door hanging toy didn’t last long. Plastic is just not strong enough to keep her from tearing it down for a trophy!

96037, the sparkly red thing is mat I knitted for the hatcher to sit on. Do NOT use that as a pot holder, you will burn the crap out of your hand! lol

I’m glad you like everything! 🙂 I was really worried on the colors for the hatcher, but I went with your favorite gems instead of colors 🙂

OOPS!! My bad, that make more sense! I thought It more decorative anyways. Thanks for correnting me before I did! And I absolutly love the hatcher. Thanks so much for all of it!
