The eyes look light orange to me. If you look at the photo of the bottom, there’s no felt pad and it looks like there’s a stamp. Probably a really really old one then, such a pity it was ruined. Maybe that could account for if the eyes are a lighter color than normal also?
January 14, 2016 at 3:38 am #939813January 14, 2016 at 4:26 am #939817They’re real. The best check for current prices is the ebay Windstone “Sold” listings for white pieces.
A coiled male sold for $31.99 plus $8.85 shipping on January 9.
A white scratching dragon sold for $139.00 Buy It Now plus $5.95 shipping (not enough to cover the cost, by the way) on December 9. That one may have been lower than market value due to the Buy It Now.
Another one sold for $125.00 plus $11.70 shipping in October.
One hatching baby shows up, but he was a best offer accepted, plus shipping from the UK, so it is hard to judge. Maybe $20 – $25 as a starting price for the baby?
Wizards like yours have not sold for a lot recently.
One was $22.95 Buy It Now plus $9.95 shipping on January 9.
Another sold for $59.95 Buy It Now plus $2.95 shipping in December.
Good luck with your sales.
February 1, 2016 at 2:51 am #940946Basically, what etruscan said! But I wanted to suggest checking out the “wanted” Classified Ads here on the Windstone Forums, because I’m pretty sure I saw someone looking for a wizard like yours there.

April 14, 2016 at 5:37 pm #944147Hello Everyone,
I am new to this site and to collecting Windstone… I bought this guy for 5 bucks at a thrift store 5years ago. As a 9yr old I had done a drawing of a cat with at first dragon wings, then one with featherd wings… so when I saw this guy I had to have him. I am in my 30s now and he has been posted up on my self since I brought him home. Can anyone help me ID him and how to repair him?? Chip in wing and paint on claw. some of his black has come off too.. Not really wanting to sell him either just what he is.
Thanks!!
April 14, 2016 at 6:17 pm #944149That is the Windstone “Large Bird Winged Flap Cat” in the color “black”, issued in 1993 and retired in 2002. $5 was a killer deal, congrats!
April 14, 2016 at 10:55 pm #944154Yes I echo the congrats on a great deal for your flap cat! If you look at the repair thread, there are lots of great tips on there for repairing chips and matching paint and such. I hope it goes well!

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.April 26, 2016 at 3:41 am #944600I recently purchased an amethyst spectral dragon for my mom for Mother’s Day. He has a birthmark on his flank in the form of a single gold scale amidst his purple hide. Is this deliberate? What does it mean?

It is deliberate; you can see the gold scale in the Windstone Store photo of the amethyst spectral dragon. I don’t think it means anything, other than looking pretty. 🙂 Some of the earlier dragon colors, like green and brown, had even more scales picked out in different colors to add visual interest.
April 26, 2016 at 12:38 pm #944619It probably means that the painter thought a gold scale would look good there.
April 26, 2016 at 12:39 pm #944621Oops, double post.
April 26, 2016 at 2:51 pm #944624Haha you are correct. I looked at that photo yesterday and skipped right over it thinking there was no mark (the picture my mom sent me made the mark bright and gleaming so my eyes just slid right over the store picture). I have seen some of the old pieces, like the brown, having scattered scales of different colors but never a single scale. Also, there was one up on eBay recently that my mom missed out on (this is why she got a brand spanking new one for Mother’s Day <3) and that one defiantly did not have the beauty mark. I spent last night looking at amethyst spectral and other spectral colors and only saw one or two with the single gold scale. It's very pretty.

April 27, 2016 at 3:34 am #944655Does every Amethist Spectral Dragon have this mark? My mom is convinced that everyone ever made has this mark and I think I have seen an Amethist Spectral Dragon with out it. I couldn’t give her a straight answer so I thought I would ask you guys.
