BARN SWALLOW DRAGONS!!!!!

I thought the griffins were very majestic looking, but they looked better in person.

There is a male Barn Swallow dragon almost done!

I loved all of the griffins in Barn Swallow. I think the chicks were my favorite.
I know I sound like a broken record, but please consider this color production or limited. I desperately want at least one critter in this color. I simply don’t have the money to throw at ebay items.

John and Melody both don’t seem to like Barn Swallow, so I’m not sure what it’s future will be :~

NOOOOOO /sob! It’s an amazing color scheme, it’s so bright and different without being too clashy, it’s warm yet tempered with the greens and blues. It’s just so perfect and most importantly, unique! What’s not to love?

Their customers are demanding something and they’re letting their own personal tastes get in the way of that?

I’m not sure how to feel about this in the long run, but right now its making me pretty angry.

Don’t hit me, lol, I like Barn Swallow! We’ve talked about in the future though letting you guys vote on the next LP or Production color, so if that happens hopefully you will get a chance to vote for Barn Swallow!

Hey, I didn’t say that Barn S was never going to be production! I mean, people shouldn’t get their hopes up about any test paint color, because very few will ever make it to production, but if we ever have a vote on the next color then I don’t see how we could get away with NOT including Barn Swallow in the voting 😉 John really seemed to like the idea of having a future vote on “next colors”.

And you guys do “demand” a lot of colors (I do to!). Not that there is anything wrong with that, but if everyone flips out about 10 different color schemes, it’s hard for one in particular to stand out. It would be impossible for us to make every color a production color that has ever gotten a squeak thread here.

EDIT: I can’t remember if I answered, but YES, P.S. is painting more Barn S dragons 🙂

Honestly – I think we forget that this is Melody’s art as well as a business. She’s stated somewhere that colors she doesn’t like or gets bored with tend to not get made or get retired.

I think Melody tends to be very accommodating of our requests in general – why would we be mad that sometimes she says no?
