Cute mixture! I wonder if she was an “end of day” unicorn? (Like “end of day” glass, where they mix remnants of colored glass and produce pieces with colors swirled through them). Melody must have had animal patterns swirling in her brain when she painted that one!
Could be–but those patterns work together surprisingly well!
May 3, 2012 at 9:32 pm #879660Both of those are lovely, Kaytana, but that Tigerloosa is very striking! I like that his “horse” end isn’t done in base white, the way the others have been. The difference between the halves is a little less stark that way.
My trade for the cuscus and the one from my friend are both due to arrive today, so I’ll finally get to see them both in person (they’ve both been seen in the thread already). I keep checking the USPS site, even though we all know the Post Office doesn’t update much. LOL
The tigerloosa is very striking! n the blend is very nice! These photos don’t do him justice! The person who is likely going to get him about tackled me when she saw that I got him (a good friend of mine who saw them before I uploaded) – So I am glad to see he will be well loved! <3 I really do love the grey one as well, but I have been hoping for more 'normal' natural animals, instead of the hybrids.. though if the grey one showed up with an oryx head I'd probably died XD he wouldn't have gone anywhere then! lol 🙂
Both of these are SUPER clean too! On Grey's elbow/hip markings, they're actually two toned grey stripes, n the blend is beautiful! Both of their hand paintings are very nicely done 🙂 I'm guessing these were done early on, before Melody wanted to chuck them at people ;p hahaha <3

And congrats Moonbeam, those 3 in one chipmunk unis are some of my favourites! So detailed.
May 3, 2012 at 10:30 pm #879668I was wondering when a Fawn would arrive. Very cute!
I love your one, moonbeam. He looks amazing!
May 3, 2012 at 10:33 pm #879670LOL PuffPastry – I just read your naming idea… Zebreetah Cheetabra haha… very tongue twisting! I was really hoping for a wild dog… maybe someone will want a trade though? We’ll see… even if they don’t I am very happy with my little fawn grab bag unicorn (fawnicorn?):)
May 3, 2012 at 10:38 pm #879671I got mine today! He is super cute (and matches my little buckskin uni perfectly) but I was hoping for spots and stripes, and a more complicated pattern. So I’ll be looking for trades. 🙂
May 3, 2012 at 10:40 pm #879673Another fawn! Very cute Stephanie!
May 3, 2012 at 10:54 pm #879675The fawns are all so much cuter than I expected them to be!
*Starts looking around the house for things to sell to amass a bigger herd of safari corns–anyone need a standard schnauzer or two? They’re only a little psychotic…* LOL
May 4, 2012 at 12:20 am #879683May 4, 2012 at 12:33 am #879684I think he’s just one of the random zebra-ish ones. Looks like he has a tiny bit of chipmunk stripe down the back.
May 4, 2012 at 12:37 am #879685So he’s one of the Zipmunks?
May 4, 2012 at 12:50 am #879688Stephanie and Shotzy, I believe your unis look more like axis deer than generic fawns. Unless they’re axis deer fawns! 🙂 Either way they’re both adorable.
Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!
