I’m going to be building something around 3000 gallons. and deep enough that herons couldnt get a proper foothold. Plus my ducks are territorial and chase other birds away….
It will also be within my backyard with its 6 foot fence. I know raccoons can climb, but I dont know how well they’d catch a fish in whats ideally going to be an almost five foot deep pond. (with a fence around it to keep my ducks out)
Will trade or buy. The ones in GREEN I want MOST (which is pretty much I want a pink one, stripes or no). The ones in red, I also love a lot, second choices. Also those tigers on the bottom are to DIE for.
Also the SKELLY UNICORN WITH HADES EYES!
I hope you continue to like painting them, because I couldnt even begin to predict when the mania will ever die down.

I’m on here pretty much all the time because my phone stays logged in. The only exceptions to that is when Im in an area with no service, otherwise here I am.
Once upon a very long while ago I only had about a dozen pieces, many that I had since I was a kid. Now I have several hundred. Addictive? Nahhhh. 😡
I like her EXACTLY as she is! Dont change her! If more patina must be added, only do it on the tail and rock and leave her pretty copper skin alone. I like her glow. Her hair also looks better with just violet tones and NO patina, like it is!
I would personally like to see #2(or more) pieces of ANY of these schemes and the pieces done: Blue Ice, Hades, Pewter Patina, Indigo, Pink, Kiwi, Black Sea, or Silver Shadow.
And despite not liking the color myself, I know a lot of people would like to see #2s of Barn Swallow pieces.
The other I would love to see is copper serpentine.
I could get behind that. I have the baby ki-rin and the Old Warrior. I think those are the only two Copper Serpentine pieces so far. I think its a much more earthy natural color than regular Serpentine is.
Of course I vote for NORMAL horse colors because we’ve had a few batches of fantasy now, lets go back to normal for at least ONE batch please?
Also If there was an option on the poll, Im voting for BIGGER batches so we can go back to two per person. I would love to see other painters pitch in to help Melody for this to happen.
Exciting news! We decided to get a SECOND one!
She was born 1/27, this past Friday. Ten days younger than Harley(and will be slightly smaller full grown as her parents are toy size). She is the puppy on the right with a ruff of white around her neck.
So in the middle of March we will bring home Harley and at the end of March we will bring home this girl too, who is tentatively named ‘Tali'(pronounced tah-lee). She also gets to keep her tail.
If you still find you want a bottom feeder, a couple of otocinclus catfish would do okay. They stay tiny and they are a TRUE vegetarian algae eater. But they dont like to be alone, so you would need at least two. Im not sure you could find them at a petco or petsmart, but the little mom/pop store I used to work at had them ALL the time.
