lol! yeah that is fun to arrange the pieces to make different color themes. the xmas ensemble is particularly amusing!
in regards to counting the pieces….well, its almost 3 am here.. i’m still up.. still on the computer…waiting to go to bed (bf won’t stop playing video games-> located in the bedroom >.desk. lol.i have some *kinda* recent pics of me again… my dad took these at xmas when i was home in NY. my nose is pink cuz i was in a t shirt in a 59 degree room for forever for him to get an acceptable shot of me.- brrr! chilly mcwilly! miso is posing with me; you can so tell she is holding her breath as i had to hold her forward to look best for the pic. she’s the dog thats needs knee surgery ( i’ll update my old post this weekend on that as we finally just now got some news)

[/img]wow this is one beautiful dragon! i just loooooooooooove the shading on his main body scales! gorgeous! sooooo nice and even on each one! the color, which is really soothing to look at reminds me of a perfect, gently toasted marshmallow!

i just finished this new fella which is really at the other end of the color spectrum….i love black dragons, and i’ve had a little black n gray plastic “bullyland” one on my desk as a guard for years, so i got the bright idea to turn him into a pyo. i should put a pic up of him for reference! i was planning on ebaying him, but geez i’m kinda attached to him since i based him after my favorite toy dragon. 😕 hmm. yeah. i should think about it.
anyhoo, i named him “doom dragon”, cuz he a naughty bad boy all in black and wherever he goes he’s ready to bring trouble. he’s got lotsa black all over…his body texture is black brushed with a little dark gunmetal silver,his chest is the dark gunmetal and the smaller body scales are classic bright silver underlined in the gunmetal. the larger neck and tail scales, and the main body scales are black edged with a faint wash of the gunmetal, really light so it looks like a different, darker color. the dorsal scales, horns n claws are black, with all the accent points being in silver. he has a juicy, high gloss finish. with all being so dark n shiny, he looks a lot better in person, which i knew would be a problem with this guy. oh, he has straw eyes and a yellow stone, cuz real silver turns yellow when its super heated, say in making stained glass for example.
ok, so here he is. i may have my dad try to reshoot him this weekend if he can capture the dragon better than i can.[img]
[/img]wow she looks great! 😀 i really REALLY like how the hoof, blaze and muzzle came out! they look really awesome! spot on!! (i soooo gave up on my unicorns’ muzzle eons ago- i totally couldn’t get it right for anything) you did a really super job to where it all looks very natural and not “painted on” looking or blotchy. major congrats on her! 😀
holy freekin cow jasmine!! i was wondering how everyone was doing in regards to getting that last batch of items from her! sheesh! i am sooooo very glad for you that you got your money back!! yay! too bad you had to fight for it, but at least you DID get it back and you were able to leave negative feedback too to warn other people! congrats! 😀
oh i hear you!! noone has money these days! its so sad too to see people have to sell off most or all of their collections as well to pay the bills. plus, not to mention all the super LP stuff that is coming out…if anyone has any spare dough you’d naturally want to snatch up something limited. its tough! i’m trying to sell my off some of my excess pyos to avoid having to sell the production pieces i have, but on the same hand i know i’m asking for trouble since the market is both rough and touch n go right now.. i have soooooo many pyos that i bought a year or more ago, so its kinda like found money if i sell them…well, besides the labor of painting them it is.
the next dragon i have is wicked cool- i’ll post pics tonight once i get home from work, so he may do a little better. 🙂thanks GB!!! i always really appreciate your comments! 🙂
this fella ends tonight around 930 PM ET and is sitting at a lowly 31 bucks. somebody check him out and get yourself a steal! if i did this one commission style i’d ask at least $100 for the detail work on him, etc. etc. give it a try! 😀 thankies! ~tiffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! thunder squee! oh he’s so handsome! after all this time he is finally available, and regular production too! thanks for posting the pics wolflodge! 😯 yippee!
yup, i put this fella up on ebay monday night.. check him out… he’s no reserve, and my last one went for a little low, so ya might get a deal! 😀 he ends next monday night. thankies! 🙂

[/img]woo hoo! new dragon! i FINALLY finished this guy.. this one was started in late summer last year, to have a fall themed piece to put up on ebay for fall time. i was wicked busy with commissions, which recently ended, so now i have the time to finish all these half done pieces that i came to a stand still with. yay! get them out of here! >.<
the colors are loosely fall themed, with an olive green (dry brushed over with a lighter olive), antique gold, russet red and bronze. he’s another flashy one ( i can’t help it) but not as wild as the tropical dragon. i’ll probably put him up on ebay for sunday or monday night. i have plans to attempt to do some milder dragons for my next ones. lets see if i can hold true to that. anyhoo, da dragon…[img]
