yippee! happy birthday!!!!! awwwwwww nobody remembered but folks on here?! ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. well, birthdays love to get bugged up, especially if you have high hopes for it…. like it rains on a day you had planned to be out on, somebody gets sick, or your favorite restaurant is out of your favorite dish. best thing you can do is try not to get to bummed (get worked up about just makes it worse) and instead try to have some true b-day fun a day shortly thereafter when there may be less troublemaking energy in the air, lol. it’ll be ok!!!!! 😀 really! smile its your birthday! 😀 yippee!

the one that is on astral castle is the original shade of gold (they are just using an old pic)..remember when the golds first came out production they were just gold and a little brown shading? i think it was the mom, male, young and hatching released in it, then melody painted the emperor next, a little darker with the brown and with the purple interference. the darker with purple looked so good it stuck and painted all the rest were painted that way! kinda like how the em.peas started out with the intense violet, then they changed it to the blue violet. post release final tweaks!

ohhh thanks pegasi!! i really appreciate the link! i lookd in every category but there, i totally forgot about that section! thank you! wow looking at those pics was the most intense excitement i’ve had in a long time! freekin wow! all the new potential stuff! i’m loving the coiled mom! what a color! 😯 and that blue n silver oriental, but now i’m sad i don’t have more money to get all that cool stuff if it comes out! there is just too much good stuff to get!

I thought it looked like someone was working on the Black Sunset griffins when I looked through the second batch of pictures you posted GB. I’m still mixed on the color though. And wow that rainbow griffin is interesting (in a good way).

hmmmm…so where does this leave the production pearls? is there still talk of making them, but just with different color eyes and stones? i just looooooooooooove the griffs in pearl (my pearl sitting chick is one of my favorite pieces) but i’d wait to get the parents in production pearl with say the pale yellow eyes to save the money ( well, to put towards more windstones, you know what mean). i was kicking myself though that i didn’t get a mom in white the first time around, so i’d hate to totally miss out if they didn’t happen in production after all….
wow thats a ton of violet antique on the curl! holy cow! that looks good though, there is alot of it and its consistent, not in blotches. darnit now i want one! gah! my fledge has none of the antique at all -its a real clean one like kioshiikittys’. great pieces!
wow nuke that is really REALLY excellent! good for you!! you can tell that griff was such a labor of love, you put sooo much into him! what fabulous detail! i am just loving everything about the wings! and you did such a great job on keeping the tribal design clean on the legs despite the texture AND having it fade out too! 😯
freekin wow! i would never, ever have the patience to do that! well, if you sell him i hope you get mega mucho $$$$- you deserve it for all the time you must have put in!! just be sure you’ll be ok if you do sell him, that you won’t miss him!! but if that is your normal semi-painless-to-do painting style, you could always make more for yourself! or maybe someone will make you an offer you can’t refuse before it goes to ebay with him being so great! good luck and thanks for sharing, hes a treat!Melody wrote:I doubt they will be production, if we do them they will probably need to be limited production, artist’s editions or limited editions.
ohhhhhhhhh! could you pretty please have them be limited production so we poor folks can save up to get one? i ( plus alot of other of his admirers i think) would never in a million years have a shot at one if he was in either of the other categories! he is so SO incredible and gorgeous i really need to have one. 🙁
really, he is incredible melody, even from the old in progress pics. i can only imagine how fabulous he is now! a couple of artists editions could always be offered for ebay, in addition to the batch or two of limited production, hmmmm? tiny squeak!? 😀yeah, its tough when they DO go so well together!! i had that problem with doing some black dragons with color… keeping them from looking like any of the current or potential black n color combos! gah! >.< in some cases we start to run out of color/pattern options! lol!
wow! look at those! i’ve never seen them before! thats offensive huh? well, at least the people are saying the were made in china and not trying to pass them off officially as windstones. i really wonder what john might want to do about that… he may want to buy them to try to trace where they came from, as it doesn’t look like the person made the pieces themselves….thats the big no-no…
i’d maybe say try prunes before raisins.. they may be more effective- my bf has had great luck with prunes. moreover though my concern for you is that raisins often contain carcinogens, so much so that they re on the no-no list for dogs and small animals like hamsters, chinchillas etc. cuz it can make them sick over time. there is something about raisins to where they absorb toxins in their environment and kinda condense them inside, which gets further condensed when they are dried into grapes. kinda like how predatory fish are higher in mercury than prey fish because they further toxify themselves by eating many of the mildy toxified prey fish over the course of their lives.. it just condense with eat fish they eat.. anyhoo, i’m not totally such how it works, but i know raisins are hazardous for at least some animals (mammals as far as i’ve heard at least) and i wouldn’t encourage consuming them with such an early stage fetus in the oven… unless your dr. says its ok of course. just being paranoid over here for you, better safe than sorry! 🙂
