here’s my chinny chin, her name is miso. i have four papillons as well to compliment her. her ear hair normally hangs longer than her chest hair, but bitsy pulls her ear hair all the time and has since shortened it to its current length. >.<[img]

we have an awesome parakeet too, named pwee, what a character! he’s a great talker and loves his daddy! he hangs upside down off his hat and picks his nose, yum! i had a better pic of him, but i have no idea where it went. he is actually a lovely periwinkle/blue color (violet factor) but i had to use a flash and he therefore turned into this weird shade of aqua. 😕
it’ll be cool to see what he looks like when he arrives to you! its sure to be a surprise either way. congrats on getting a great deal! 🙂

this was the double kick in my pants today; i was going to finally get a brown lap, only to find the last two blew out of the store, after sitting there forever and i just checked their status like a day or so earlier. i wonder who got them. two more empresses are gone too, i wonder each person who got a lap got an empress to match. oh well, i’ll just have to get a brown scratcher instead. lol, it sure does pay to buy stuff when you see it, or bid when you can, cuz before you know, they both will be gone! oops!hey there! just a little bumpity bump to remind any interested folks that this lovely lady is ending tonight! loosely around 830-845 pm eastern time. 🙂
as far as i know its just credit cards, but then again i don’t do checking with them. i think the main thing it has to do with is the (high) standing balances with the credit cards. you could call customer service just to be safe, but i don’t see anywhere that they could charge you, unless you have overdraft privileges on your checking account and if you owe a balance on that overdraft line.
i sincerely hope other card companies don’t inflict this.. i have a citibank card too and i look now to make that my main card, so i’d just die if that card got the high apr too. gah! i know citibank was having financial difficulties, but heard nothing about them changing rates. hopefully they’ll be smart and not change rates, just pick up the fleeing BOA folks to make up for what revenue they need. lol.wow thanks for the link!! that explains a lot, thank you!!!!! yeah, what a way to treat your customers! i banked with them since 1998, shame on them! that site seems to show that the rate varies a little based on your balance, but it doesn’t look like any rate exists under 20% or so. freekin’ wow!
boy, it pays to read your “junk mail”! i must have been under a rock the past couple weeks or something, because i was cleaning up yesterday, going through my junk mail, sales flyers etc. and found a piece of mail from BOA in a plain envelope. i figured it was just more junk like loan offers or something that i’m not eligible for, but i opened it anyway. well, did i get a fright that chilled me to my bones!!! bank of america, due to the state of the economy, high credit balances on most peoples accounts, etc. is super duper raising their credit card apr rates for every single customer for all previous and new transactions of any type. mine is going up to a whopping, stomach turning 27.99% “effective on the first day following your statement closing date in march 2008”!! that’s double my old rate!
now, it didn’t say this that clearly in the mailing, like how i did above, and i couldn’t find anything about it on their website, so i called and spoke with a real human being that i felt confident in. she confirmed the above info that this applied to every one of their 580,000 card holders and for every type of transaction.
however, you do NOT have to accept the rate hike…here’s the thing, you must write a letter to the indicated department by the end of february stating that you do not want the rate hike. your card will maintain its current apr, BUT you should not use your card at all after that point. the card WILL remain active and you will still get a monthly bill, and you can pay your bill monthly (as opposed to payment due upon receipt), but you do not use the card. if something crazy happens and you DO use the card, it IS still active and useable, but then they will assume you agree to the rate hike and your card instantly will get the high apr.
i asked the lady if she felt this would be implemented industry wide but she heard nothing of that as of yet.
anyhoo, bottom line, i just wanted to pass this on to you guys, as i know alot of folks here are tight on funds and we love to buy our windstones still. i myself carry an unpleasant balance on my BOA card, but i still use it and pay on it as best i can. if i had to pay that high apr on the whole balance, i wouldn’t be able to financially recover unless i sold all my windstones, which i really would hate to do. i just wanted to let you guys know this in case any of you are cardholders with them. the woman i spoke with recommended writing the letter, not using your card but paying on your balance if you have one, then call customer service in june or july and see what then can do for you offerwise in regards to a better apr based on your credit and your payoff rate with them. they were hoping for better economic stability etc. by summer, to where they could begin to maybe loosen their belts again a little.
again, i just wanted to share with you guys this info as i know the economy is bad, we have little money and have been relying on our cards more. i didn’t want to see anyone get in a situation here if you didn’t open that piece of mail like i did until yesterday. my boyfriend threw his out without another thought, never even opened it. if you need the address you can message me for it, or call BOAs customer service to ask more questions , etc. i hope you god this isn’t the new trend for all the credit card companies! that would be awful! this alone is really going to effect how i spend and my ability to pay for stuff. watch out for yourselves folks! 🙂you know, i kinda think i had a jade/jade hybrid kinglet at one point. i ebayed him, so i no longer have him, and i have to look into who i sold him to. i posted him on the forum first but noone got too excited about him at the time, if i remember correctly.he had that strong additional gold on his nose and right cheek that was more than the average, his darker green a touch darker than average and the mid/light greens were normal. anyhoo, here he is, what do you think?

thanks guys! yeah, hopefully things will turn around and get better soon. 🙂 i know just about everyone on here has had plenty of their own hardships as of late, and some really incredible ones as well, so we are all really in the same boat together!
i am so happy you for you DM that you are finally getting OT hours! i know you were rootin’ for those for a long time! the money goes out as fast as it comes in, but hey thats awesome that extra is coming in! i hope you manage to get some nice goodies for yourself finally. 🙂 i wish i could get OT hours at my work ( we have no such thing) , but i have been cashing out PTO hours for some extra dough.. that has been a real blessing for these pricey winter months, i am very grateful that i had them as a fall back.
i hope with springs’ eventual arrival in a few months that we all will have a refreshing turn for the better!woooooooooooooooooo snazzy! he’s gorgeous so far! but then again everything you do looks great! i was looking forward to when we were going to see something new from you!! ^.^ drools!
wow! its about time i posted some new pyos! holiday time had me so busy, not to mention some relationship problems and health problems on top of it have kept me from both painting as much as i wanted and posting on the forum as well. 🙁 freekin’ life, its a pain sometimes…. but i know i could be much worse off. anyhoo, here are a couple more commissions that i did since my last posting. i several pieces for ebay in the works ( god knows when those will be done though) along with another commission and i just started on my first keeper! woo hoo! i am so excited we finally have those to paint! there are so many possibilities its hard to know what to do!!
anyway, here are those finished pieces. the first is a dragon done in dark-to-light gradating soft pearl orange, peach and salmon tones… kind of a peaches and cream dragon. she was meant to coordinate with yellow sunlight dragon from a while ago.[img]
the following fellow was based on a carnivale mask done in royal blue and gold; he was to match in both color and flashy, contrasty feel. the gold on him is a super bright gold leaf colored gold paint, but the pics make it look like banana yellow, lol. his accents are done in an antique gold and his body is a prussian/midnight blue brushed over with just a little gold to bring out the texture. he looks so much better in person with his flashy gold paint sparkling.[/img]
so that’s what i have been up to, along with a desk full of half finished pieces! my gosh they are everywhere >.< hopefully it won't be so long til my next posting of new pieces. i do welcome commissions by the way, or i'll just keep painting or me and i'll post em when i actually finish something! lol! hope ya like em. 🙂hey there, its me! i just wanted to make a little post that i’m selling my rainbow mother up on ebay if anyone is interested. she is mint in box with tag and bag. i hate to sell her, but boy, hours minimal at work and i am just too slow at painting pyos to fully count on that as a consistent source of income. the bills are piling up and i need dental work too, so is time for some of my pretties to go. 🙁 she has been well taken care and i pack super duper safely. 🙂 check her out if you get bored. i’ll have some more pyos up on ebay eventually, i am just so slow at painting them cuz i nit pick all the details.
