Melody, holy jumpin’ cow flies! That Bengal Wizard Cat is fabulous! I’m so entranced and will enjoy watching (will never afford) that auction to see how much it goes for. I know you have about a couple thousand different kinds of squeaks in your ear (including my signature!), but if there’s a way to get this Bengal Wizard Cat into the store (maybe change robe colour to keep the ebay ones special), I know I’d be a vote for buying one without a doubt!
This is not (yet) an official squeak for me (though might be for some), but I’m willing to bet a Silver Bengal Wizard Cat with, perhaps a blue, green or purple robe would look breath taking!

I can’t believe I got one from this small bunch of PYOs! That NEVER happens with the painted pieces tho, ever! And I don’t buy for myself, I do for family I’m taking care of. However, this Phoenix is going to be a group paint project so we’re very excited (insert joke along the lines of “how many adults does it take to paint a PYO phoenix?!”). Thank you Melody for putting these out and all of us at our home hope that your family is doing better. We knew you were away and you’ve been, and will continue to be in our prayers.

Personally, I did not use the link she provided in this thread. I copied and pasted her email address into my own email and then sent it. She has received my emails a few times so try that way and see what happens. Don’t hyperlink it.

And this dealer or person or whatever, posts under numerous ebay names, too. Pretty obvious when you use the exact same photos (which, just as a side, means you’re not getting the exact item pictured).

I am *so very* desperate for one of your small BW flap cats. Been searching for years and it’s in my top 3 of my wish list. Its mate is very lonely here and anytime I’m close to it, it slips away. God, what I wouldn’t give. 😥

Leigha, this is how my mind works, as I tried to put myself in your shoes. She did this to get a rise out of you, or to hurt you or combo of both. Naughty mama, but thats really not my place. However, if it were me, I’d have some nice meal waiting for them when they got home, or something like that. Something happily unexpected to show to your mom that she had no effect on you. That would be the best way to retaliate by doing so with dignity which would tick anyone off that did this to you wanting to get you upset. Act more than happy to download the pix and put them on the CD for her. When you feel she is trying to get your goat (egg you on), play it calm, cool and smooth. Don’t let her win. That will chap her hide! Yet you did nothing wrong. You’re being a pure angel!

Seriously, our one AC bill would easily pay for the coveted Cat Wizard and then some!Always well wishes you to mah dear!

So badly want to put in a decent bid for the long desired Wizard cat (either colour), but our air conditioner just refuses to cool the house and the bill for that alone, is high cause it keeps running. Company tells us that in FL, when it gets to a certain temperature, no AC unit will work totally and can only cool off to a certain degree. We keep the house at 75 though wish it could be cooler. Most of the time it’s alright. But now we are having to bump the house to friggin 80 which is wicked uncomfortable, and the AC still wont cool or turn off. Btw, AC is checked several times a year, filter changed every 3 weeks in summer … nothing is actually wrong with it. But we have to suffer in heat in the house, to lower a killer AC bill which makes up 80% of our electric bill.
Rant, sorry. But I really want that dang wizard cat!!! For so many years I’ve been wanting to get it for someone and want the BW one for another person, and both of their BDays are this month (in fact, one is tomorrow)!

Pegasi, what was your favourite part? And yes, a day at any of the parks will kill your feet all year round. But going to the parks in FL summers is a torture all unto itself with the heat. They always have extra medics on site because the combo of heat and the extra adrenaline of awesome rides, while fun in the moment, can be a very dangerous cocktail. I’ve helped more than enough people who were simply standing in line behind me waiting to get food somewhere and suddenly they drop right onto my back because they pass out. Thankfully in all my experiences, the people working those restaurants listened to my requests and responded immediately (get a cold rag in water, get apple juice, etc). Of course people accompanying the ailing person are already on their phones or calling for professional help but if you know what to do instantly and you’re there, I can’t help but help.

Thats nuts! If you’re going to Universal side, all you have to do is walk over to the Isle of Adv side. There should be a 2 for 1 kind of bargain ticket. IofAvd side of WAY more fun but yes, it does have much more vomit kind of rides, especially roller coasters. I want to live in the new Harry Potter section (and it use to be my favourite part of the park anyway so if they had to redo it, I’m so happy it’s Harry Potter). Peg, you’ve simply got to work it where you can spend time on both sides of Universal Studios. You’re there anyway, convince them into a compromise! For me, Disney is a waste but then I’ve spent so much time there over the years. Geared very much towards kids and doesn’t catch my fancy whereas Universal keeps both kids and adults entertained.

I’d so kill for that BW Batwing if it’s the spotted one I’m thinking about. Been looking for the birdwings mate for so long now and am always outbid when they are on ebay. Sadly, with family banning together to pay medical bills, I can’t afford what you’re asking right now. But I am going to watch the thread. I’d really love to gift someone with that specific flap… again, if it’s the flap I’m thinking of (I’m assuming it is for that price as the regular retired black flaps wouldn’t fetch that). Good luck! to us both, right?!

There was an eye colour choice? 😮 Didn’t even know they were made with teal eyes! Ever! Were they special pieces or were they sold in the store? I was asleep at the wheel, apparently.

My squeak is definitely, absolutely for the store since everyone in my household cannot afford ebay at any rate. I second what Phoenix said about “show me what to do and I’ll do it” with regard to cutting out stencils. I’m serious. I love these patterns (tiger and other wild cats especially… speaking for my household) so much, yes, I’d be willing to help create the stencil with given instructions on how to do it. Not speaking for anyone specifically but I’m willing to bet if it came to that, other forum members would jump right in and offer the same just to have that pattern (or other future complicated design patterns) in the store. I’d buy these patterns on way more than just the Curls… whatever lands in the store with a tiger, zebra or fire flame style print on it, we’d want to buy over here.
We all ask the world of you Melody and you pretty much deliver. I know I speak for others when I say we don’t want any undue pressure on you. So, if there is anything I, myself can do to help you out with creation, please, truly let me know and I’ll try to do as you ask.
