Blue is going to try and make it to Kiya’s house this weekend, so hopefully he doesn’t get too waylaid in the post. A week should give him plenty of time though.
Blue is finishing up his visit with me, and photos will probably be forthcoming this weekend, then, he’s off again onto his next adventure!
Wow, he’s beautiful! Also you have given me extreme urges to put a massively epic mane on something. Wish my horse had hair like that.
Yes, I was going to offer sketches somehow.
Cards or post cards maybe… I was trying to get a book of sketches together, but after working on it for over a year I still haven’t gotten around to finishing and printing it!I would love that kirin family drawing on something (the one that had their faces turned into the card), I’ve always loved just how huggably FLUFFY they look together. I love sketches on stuff 🙂
My bigger tablet allows me to draw and ink from the shoulder– instead of from the wrist, which is not only beneficial to your art but also to your physical health if you are doing it 10+ hours a day as I do.
Exactly the reason I upgraded. Almost gave myself carpal tunnel before having the $300 twisted out of me, but it was definitely for the better. I liked my little one a lot, but it was rather taxing on the wrist.
PYO is a good idea, I’d certainly buy as many different foxes as I could get my hands on.
Show off some fancy fuzzy love 😀 I probably own’t be getting a Windstone box for a while, so I’d love to see them…
(too bad I missed the PYO unis…would’ve liked to snag one of those with a fancy fuzzy as travel companion)
Not sure about writing in a word document, but I highly recommend a wacom. It will be easier to write on a larger on than a little 4×6. I’ve had both, and the larger one, in the long run, is worth every penny more. My current one is has a 9×6 drawing area, and it’s wonderful. Wacom is top of the line, and they’re fairly sturdy. I bought my little graphire in 2004 (?) and it’s still going strong. Had the big one for three years now and works like it did out of the box; even the drawing surface has very little wear.

Wow, I swear I posted this already. I lose at photo updates.
This is the natural Quartz foop that FactFox made for me! He has natural quartz pieces on his tail, and she sent a crystal with him to keep him company. He matches my pet house plant’s terra cotta pot exactly, so he keeps it company now nearby.

I really liked it on the kirin too 😀
Wow, LOVE the Danube wings!
Thanks for your help guys! Amazing, but after all that, I never even thought to look on Amazon! It’s the most obvious place in the world and I automatically nixed it because they’re an online dealer, I’d forgotten that brick and mortar places can sell through them now too. I had a forum member contact me with one though (not sure if she wants to be recognized or not since it was through pm) so I’m going to go with hers since I’d rather my buck go to someone’s pocket I know than a box store somewhere.
I love this forum. It’s like a little island of really good people in a really murky internet sea.
Wooo! So excited! I don’t get Christmas cards from many people :D, it will get a nice prominent place with the reindeer collection.
