Hrm, that sounds bad. Thank you both so VERY much for the offers! Having to decide is a MUCH better situation than being all sad and Flion-less! (Heck, it’s a bit tempting to just say yes to you both and have a pair….)
I don’t know, it seems like trying to trade art for Windstones hasn’t gone well for anybody here. I’ve seen several people try it over in the flea market, and haven’t seen very much come of it.
(Certainly I’ve never been able to.)
I definitely second this! I would love a PYO oriental dragon, and of course a PYO flapcat would be awesome.
Yes, I want an oriental PYO dragon too! That was my very first request when I heard about PYOs and that they were looking for ideas for them.
Augh! I was watching a Flion. It was so cheap! I SO wanted it! And then I got distracted doing Christmas presents, and when I was done, I looked back and it had ended less then five minutes before! For just $86, and I’d actually managed to scrape up $150 for it! It would have been mine, but I missed it by FIVE FRICKING MINUTES!
*whimpers*
And by the time another one comes up that’s that cheap, I probably won’t have the money any more. Gah. I am SO pissed off at myself for letting myself get distracted like that.
Meh. I don’t suppose anybody has a less than mint Flion they’d sell for $150?
It is totally nifty and awesome!
(I really have decided I don’t have enough paitence. I do okay with painting, but there’s always some point where I go “eh, screw it!” and just finish that bit off any old way.)
I’ve never been that fond of the young dragon, but I’ll admit that in rainbow he looks very nice. I’ve been tempted several times by a young rainbow, but there was always somethign else I wanted more.
I hope never to need to, but the option is there, and it makes me feel better about how much I spend on these things!
My collection would be MUCH larger than it is if I were willing to go into debt or miss payments on things to get Windstones, but I only ever buy them after the bills are paid.
Of course my savings account would be much more full if I didn’t buy Windstones, but I figure that in the kind of emergency where I’d be dipping into savings, I could always post a quick post here and liquidate a good bit of my collection.
If you get a good look at one in person, you can tell! I thought they were just particularly nice marbles, and then I got my first coiled dragon, and I just stared at it, because it was so neat looking!
