There’s still a pink grand unicorn and a pink coiled male coming right? Any others?

I had a huge problem with dishes and cleaning, not from children or family but from house mates I lived with. I mean I can *almost* understand children being lazy and expecting their mother to clean up after them all the time, but total strangers leaving a huge mess and expecting me to clean it. It was insane.

One day our sink, full of dishes as per usual, had big chunks of shrimp in it in addition to the dishes. Disgusted, I confronted my house mate who eats shrimp, asking her why she didn’t scrape her plate off before leaving it in the sink (I didn’t even ask why she didn’t just wash her plate!). She looked at me like I was crazy, because she didn’t know what “scraping your plate” meant. When I explained that y’know, before you put your dish in the sink you scrape the extra food into the garbage with your fork, she laughed and said she’d never heard of that before. Um. What.

Also, none of the 5 people I lived with knew that dryers had a lint screen you had to empty. I found this out after living with them for 6 weeks and our dryer had stopped working. Oh, and one girl didn’t know that maggots were baby flies, she thought they grew randomly like mould. They didn’t know that a cord had to connet the router to the modem for the internet to work, one day I came home from class to everyone acting like the world was ending because our internet was “broken” because someone bumped it and knocked the cord out. Of 6 people in the house, I was the only person who ever took out the garbage, ever, and if I forgot it didn’t get done. And I can’t even count the number of times there was food rotting in the fridge or on the counter. The best part? My housemates were these smart life science majors with like 90% averages. Boggles the mind, I honestly can’t imagine how these people were raised that they don’t know what lint is. *headdesk*

Yep… kids these days… haha. A student I was talking to was telling me this story about how he left a glass out with a bit of milk or something in it, so it had crusted in, and he threw the glass away because he couldn’t reach with a cloth to clean it. Like wow, I’m glad that money you’re paying for school is teaching you those great problem solving skills there.

Anyway, I live alone now, I’m much happier xD

My fantasy candy corn one came without an inner box, it was just wrapped in crinkle paper, bubblewrap, and peanuts. One fantasy young I got came in a normal box with inserts, and the other came in just inserts taped together. All the other youngs came in normal box+ insert, and all the babies I’ve got from the store have come wrapped in crinkle paper in a little white box that says baby unicorn.

Sooo I think the candycorns all went without the inner boxes. 😛

Boy are you being generous with only asking a $50 refund. The piece is worth something in one piece. Not so much in 3.

              Agreed. Yikes!

Does anyone remember those robot piggy bank things? You’d put the coin in their hand and press it and they’d eat it and dance. Windstone should do one like that. Griffin can do the robotics part xD

The labradorite lap went for around $5 grand. I don’t think this emperor will surpass that, but he will likely be the most expensive emperor ever sold. Glad I dont like pink that much. >.< He is really pretty though!

Is that lap the most expensive ebay piece ever?

The big pegasus would be nice! I’d definitely get one of those giants. Also I dislike the sitting up/ begging type pose of the kirin and griffin, it’d be nice to see something different there 🙂

There’s a my little pony named Munchy that has burgers, hot dogs, AND french fries over its side. Maybe she’s a distant relative of hot dog’s.

People really don’t fuss around with the ebay buys do they? lmao… I really did know this a head of time, but I’ve been keeping a very close eye on the Blue Ice mother dragon.. ‘n had this silly mini hope that maybe I stand something of a chance since she barely budged today… she went from lil over 200 to 280 in a pretty short amount of time x.x which is above what I was allowing myself to bid, lol..

I was so set to bid on the pink kirins, then they each went for about $1000 or something, I know how you feel! And then I saw the pink mother unicorn, got excited, but she’s at $700. But, look on the bright side, high prices mean more incentive to make more, or make them production right? 😛

I see a lot of people posting photos of things they didn’t make on DA, like resin horses and the like. It does get a bit confusing. I don’t know about copyrights and stuff but generally I think that if it’s a sculpture (like a resin horse) that you made, you put it in the sculpture category. If it’s a photo you took of the sculpture, you put it in the photo category. Like for PYO’s, I wouldn’t put them under sculpture, I’d put them under custom dolls or custom something.

Anyway, it’s neat to see all the PYO’s so far! 🙂

Is there or is it possible to have a group where you can show off Windstones that aren’t PYO? Or, can you make a folder in the PYO group to show off photos (albeit artsy and well lit) of non PYO Windstones? Or shall we just continue post our collections in this forum?

One reason I ask is because in the forum threads some “photos have been moved or deleted” and I figure it’d be easier to see them in a group on DA.

                                  Just a suggestive question.

                                  I like this idea too!
